Welcome to our warm and cozy family friendly Montana ranch! We are nestled at the base of the Whitefish Mountain Range, just steps from the Flathead National Forest. An outdoor enthusiasts Haven! Spectacular vistas await you in every direction. Noticeably quiet with an occasional 'moo' from our barnyard friends and a morning hello from Mr. Doodle-Roo, you're sure to find the relaxation you've been waiting for.
Escape to our hidden treasure. Only minutes from town, our three bedroom/two bath farmhouse is the ideal venue if you want to experience a small working ranch.
Water/30 amp electric hookup available for our horse layover friends.

Linda and Dave have a beautiful property and are always wonderful accommodating hosts. We’ve made a trip to the Bed and Bale an annual trip for our fri nds and family. 10/10.

Linda ensured our stay was comfortable and lovely for the 7 of us. We were welcomed by her and her pup when we arrived and she gave us a tour of the home on beautiful property. The kitchen is well-appointed, allowing us to make a brunch with fresh eggs and waffles! The beds were all comfortable. We had 2 adults on the main floor, two teenage girls in the bigger room upstairs, two teenage boys in the loft, and one teenager on his own in the other room upstairs. Everyone slept well, due to mountain air and comfortable spaces. Many amenities provided, which was a big help. I'm glad I didnt pack shampoo or conditioner. She had bear spray left over from other travelers, so don't buy any! Even if hers is used up, you can rent some in town. We stayed busy, so we did not get to enjoy a relaxing evening bonfire that was offered, but it would have been wonderful. You will not regret staying at the Bed 'n' Bale if you want the peace and beauty of the country. It's about 45 minutes to the West Glacier entrance and 10 min to downtown Whitefish.

We stayed with Linda at her wonderful farm in Whitefish in August. We booked almost a year out - and had plenty of good communication back and forth. There were 6 adults and 1 child - and plenty of room for everyone. I've never stayed in such a well-equipped VRBO - from kitchenware to spices to bath products. Our granddaughter particularly loved the two Highland cows and the chickens and dog running around. And her husband graciously lit a fire for us for s'mores. Just about 10 minutes outside of Whitefish - this was an excellent family retreat. Linda lives right on the property in another home and pops over to check on everything regularly. Great choice when you're in Glacier.

We were beyond happy with our stay! Linda and Dave are the most gracious hosts. The property has everything you could need - a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels and information about the area including Glacier NP. We felt like we were coming home every evening after spending the day in the park or hanging out at the beach by Whitefish Lake. The location is central to everything in the Flathead Valley.
It is such an amazing, beautiful area. This is a complete 10 out of 10 property. Thank you so much for making our vacation a wonderful memory!
