About this house rental
The holiday house De Kiriko in old-pilioritic style is in a beautiful, idyllic hillside location, just outside the historical village Milies, in a calm setting between gardens, dense chestnut and oak trees directly above the bay of Pagassitikos.
The holiday house is ideal for nature lovers who seek tranquility and like hiking. The rustically furnished house was built in 1867, completely renovated in 1989 and partly renovated in spring 2015. On the ground floor there is the living/dining area with a stove, open kitchen area and direct access to the terrace and garden. From the ground floor a wooden staircase leads to the upper floor – the attic door can be used to separate both floors if necessary. On the upper floor there is an open bed-/living room area with a fireplace and a bathroom. The upper floor can also be accessed via an external staircase.
There is direct access to a roofed terrace.
A small, paved, partly steep path leads to the house (approx. 5 min by foot). You can't drive to the house by car, there is only the footpath.
The accommodation can also be booked during the winter for a monthly rent.

Idyllic cottage. This is a very pittoresque cottage that you can only reach by means of a beautiful kalderimi (donkey path), about 10 minutes walk from the road. From the road you can reach the central square of Milies by walking about 20 minutes uphill, again via a beautiful kalderimini with stunning views. Of course, you can also reach the centre of Milies by car. If you seek a quiet, leafy, and authentic place to stay, away from daytrip visitors and tourists, this cottage is the place to be. If you seek luxury, this is not the place to be. The cottage is tastefully decorated and clean. Its basic amenities add to its charm and the feeling that you are part of the community of Milies. This is definitely a place that I shall remember and will want to return to when visiting Pilio.

Ein sehr angenehmer Ort mit großen Nußbäumen vor dem Haus, ein Haus in den Bergen, das ist die Stimmung, ruhig, dörflich und zu Fuß ist die sehr bewegte landschaftliche Umgebung und der Hauptplatz/ Einkaufen leicht zu erreichen, Spaziergänge.
Die Räume gut eingerichtet, praktisch, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet.
Die Gartenterrassen auf zwei Ebenen.
Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist von diesem Platz durch einen Bergrücken verstellt aber dafür ist die heimelige Atmosphäre in bergiger Gegend sehr ansprechend und nach wenigen Schritten erreicht man Orte, von denen man den imposanten Meerblick geniessen kann.

Sehr hübsches Häuschen, nett eingerichtet, ausreichende Ausstattung, sehr netter, unterstützender und bemühter Vermieter, mit dem wir allerdings nur telefonisch Kontakt hatten. Sehr ruhige, schattige Lage. An den weniger warmen Tagen im Mai haben wir einen sonnigen Platz vermisst, der Vermieter wollte dann umgehend durch Baumrückschnitt dafür sorgen.
Nicht einfach ist die Erreichbarkeit des Hauses: es ist nur über einen abschüssigen und SEHR holprig gepflasterten Eselsweg in knapp 10 Fußminuten vom Parkplatz an der Straße aus erreichbar.

We liked this charming house at the outskirts of the village, about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. From the peaceful terrace you have a nice view on the village. The first floor offers a pleasant living-sleeping room for two persons. The bed is 140cm wide. We enjoyed the open fireplace. Bathing facilities are simple and somewhat worn-down. The ground floor is moldy with an old, slightly dirty kitchen. We could not get the heating working. The owner announced that some improvements are planned.
