Beautiful and private garden with plenty of space. Nice swimming pool and marvelous jacuzzi. Also the hammocks in the garden give you a quiet and relaxed stay. The house is perfectly situated for visiting Braga, Guimaraes and the National Park of Peneda Gerês. The owner is very kind and answers your questions via e-mail quickly. The cabin itself is a little bit outdated without dishwashing machine and rather small and uncomfortable beds.

Lovely house with beautiful surroundings. The garden was well kept, nice seating areas. The kids were very happy with the pool. The owner was very helpful and made sure we had all we need. When our car broke down, he made sure that the road-assistance came to help us. The house was well kept and we would recommend it to friends and families.

The gardens are wonderful and pool and outside dining facilities are excellent. What you do not easily deduce from the VRBO description until you arrive is that they are shared with other families. So no secluded relaxing. We were lucky with the other families as they were respectful of our space. The cabin is showing its age and the fittings and décor are in desperate need for refurbishment. Lots of gloomy brown walls and odd decorations, with elderly beds and furnishings. Situated between the sea and the national park you do need a car to explore to reach the nice walking areas and lovely towns along the side of the river about 25km away. Dogs are charged at €10 per dog per day which soon adds up with an extended stay and this was a charge notified after booking and so not apparent when selecting this holiday let. The cleaner, Rosalina, could not have been more welcoming and hard working as she made the best of the facilities. This would be perfect for a large family staying in both properties. Everyone else you take your chance.
