About this chalet rental
The detached Chalet Ca’mea is located in the holiday resort of Breiten in a hillside setting below the world-famous Aletsch Glacier. It boasts uninterrupted panoramic views over the valley, the village of Mörel, the Rhône River, and the mountain scenery.
The 80 m² holiday apartment at Chalet Ca’mea has been awarded a 4-star classification by the Swiss Tourism Federation. Offering 4½ rooms across two floors, it combines comfort, charm, and high-quality amenities. In March 2018, both the kitchen and the main bathroom were completely renovated and modernized.
Ground floor:
One double bedroom, a bathroom with hydro-shower, WC, and bidet, and a balcony accessible from both the living room and the bedroom, offering wonderful views. The open, fully equipped kitchen flows into the cozy living and dining area with fireplace and satellite TV.
A rustic wooden staircase leads to the upper sleeping area.
Upper floor:
One double bedroom (with two single beds), one single bedroom, and a bathroom with shower and WC.
The property includes a private underground parking space as well as an additional outdoor parking space (approx. 50 meters from the house).
Enjoy comfort, tranquility, and breathtaking views at Chalet Ca’mea – the perfect place to unwind after an active day in the Aletsch region or Goms. The chalet is also an ideal base for excursions to Brig, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, or to Lago Maggiore in Italy.

Lovely property, well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Raoul the manager was very helpful when we arrived, and gave us really good ideals for places to visit.
Great location on the side of the Riederalp mountain and surrounding valley and mountain areas. Easy access for walking and Hiking via the cable car.
Good base to visit Zermatt, Crans - Montana, and the Leukerbad thermal baths.
Really enjoyed having our meals in the glorious sunshine on the very scenic balcony.

Wir fanden ein traumhaftes Ferienhaus in eine sehr ruhige Lage wo wir gerne gelebt haben. Alles war tip top in ordnung; die Communication mit Yvonne war prima; die Familie Kalbermatten war immer für uns da. Ein ideales Ausgangspunkt zum wandern weiter in das Gomstal oder höher auf das Plateau von Riederalp. Die Kabelbahn ist ganz in der Nähe, aber ein Wagen ist erforderlich. Wir empfelen es alle!

This is a top quality chalet on a south facing mountain side, which has been fitted out to a very high specification. It is excellently managed by a neighbour who will even pick you up from the local station. Stunning views of the valley and outside seating on the veranda for "dining out". There is parking for your car, and if you have come by train, there is a walk up from the station which I did in 15 minutes with a large bag of shopping and a back pack and I am well past retirement age!
Take the cable car which passes over the property to the top station on a sunny day and you will be amazed at what you see up there - surely Morel's best kept "secret".
The owners adopt a very much hands-on approach to letting this property and take every possible means to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Highly recommended and we would certainly return.

Wir haben uns in dem Chalet sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Ferienhaus liegt auf ca. 900 mtr. Höhe mit einem herrlichen Rundumblick auf die Berge. Es ist einfach und gemütlich eingerichtet und der Kamin sorgt für eine behagliche Atmosphäre. Der Ort Mörel selbst gibt nicht allzuviel her , ist aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für verschiedenste Freizeitaktivitäten. Zur Seilbahn sind es nur wenige Minuten.
Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man in einer Ferienwoche benötigt und die Besitzer waren sehr auf unser Wohl bedacht und auch die Verwalter-Familie stand für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung.
