About this villa rental

Lovingly furnished with high-quality furniture and tiled in a light terracotta, the villa is situated in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. It boasts a fully-equipped, open kitchen and a 40 m², Provençal-style, living room, which leads directly to the terrace and garden. There is a dining area for 6 people and a seating area in front of the open fire. Next to the living room you find a separate, oriental-style studio for 2 p. complete with its own sink and shower. In the first floor is a large, bright bedroom with an en suite bathroom and private balcony. From here you can enjoy a nice view of the garden, surrounding Grimaud and the nearest vineyard. Next door you find an smaller bedroom for 1-2 p. with sink and shower. Outside, a spacious, roofed terrace leads right round the house and an outside grill offers you the possibility of a barbecue. Here the swimming pool is situated amidst palm and olive tree and the exclusive teak furniture just invites you to relax. A bientôt!

Very nice place

We have spent 2 weeks in February. The house is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It has to be particularly nice during the summer. In the winter time it's a little bit cold, but the owner has provided additional heating. The neighborhood is rather calm, and Grimaud village really wonderful. During the winter neighbors of the house below heat heavily with their fireplace which is quite annoying. Difficult to open the windows to ventilate. It is the reason why I have not put 5 stars on this point. Once again, this is mainly spring/summer vacation house and I imagine it must be wonderful during that time of the year ! Overall it was a very nice place and we have really enjoyed the stay ! Thank you !

Our family of 5 spent an excellent September week in this beautiful property. Location excellent- walking distance to a small hilltop town with excellent restaurants, cafes, bakery etc / about 15 mins drive to the beach. The house is well furnished, comfortable and functional inside and out. The pool was warm for the time of year. Kitchen well-equipped. Perfect relaxation and much to see and do in the local area.

I, together with my wife and two babies, stayed in this Villa for a week. The Villa (and Jean-Christophe) were just wonderful. After reading the description and researching for few weeks, I decided to go for this Villa - and the result exceeded my expectations (by a lot). I definitely recommend Grimaud and this Villa in particular. Jean-Christophe was wonderful to deal with – he promised to help me find a second travel cot and a high chair (as he has one of each in the Villa) for my twins, and he was able to do so. Both the location and furniture of the Villa are superb. I will definitely go to visit this area again and will stay in the same Villa. Jean-Christophe was available for any question I had. Also, I received my deposit very quickly after I left the Villa. Many thanks Jean-Christophe for a wonderful stay at your Villa. R.

dream come true

i stayed for three weeks at this wonderful villa, and would definitely recommend it. i did months of research before selecting this property, and it was even better than i hoped. the village of grimaud is perfectly situated for holiday makers who love the beach, historic sights, and the countryside of provence. it is close enough to st. tropez to go the market in the morning, and to go again for dinner. yet, it is possible to access the beautiful beaches of pamplonne, other medieval towns, and local markets without getting trapped in the notoriously bad traffic along the coastal road between st. tropez and st. raphael. do not underestimate the severity of this traffic between july and sept.!!!!!! this house itself is clean, perfectly maintained, has plenty of sunlight, reliable breezes, and very comfortable. it is spacious and well furnished, and the master bedroom with it's private terrace is especially romantic. it is a joy to cook in the complete kitchen and the outdoor grill is excellent. the pool is not large, or deep, but very private and always refreshing. the photos and descriptions on the website are accurate, but the villa is much better in person. dr. curtillet speaks french, english and german and was attentive to our needs and was a pleasure to rent from. m. aubin, the agent in town, was very nice and helpful, but does not speak english. the village of grimaud is a medieval treasure, with a fascinating history behind it's crumbing towers and impressive ramparts. along the ancient streets you will find several typical cafes, restaurants and, of course, a weekly market providing local products, day-boat fish and specialty items. i like the enormous salads at the informal bar clem, and the lovely terrace of le cafe de france. overall, it was a dream come true for me, and i was very happy with this house.

Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour dans votre maison qui est en réalité encore plus belle que sur les photos. L’ équipement et l’ameublement raffinés ainsi que la piscine chauffée nous ont permis de passer d’excellents moments même sous les quelques pluies d’automne. La localisation est aussi parfaite pour visiter cette belle région avec des promenades magnifiques a 10 minutes du jardin! Wir waren mit unseren beiden Hunden für zwei Wochen Gäste im Haus von Jean-Christophe. Das Grundstück war für uns mit den Hunden perfekt. Eingezäunt und wunderschön begrünt mit einem Pool ganz nahe der Terrasse. Den malerischen Ort Grimaud konnte man prima fußläufig erreichen. Die Einrichtung im Haus überraschte uns mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Es war soweit alles vorhanden, was für uns wichtig war. Sollte etwas nicht funktionieren konnte man Jean-Christoph jederzeit ansprechen. Die vorhandene Musikauswahl aus der privaten CD-Sammlung war ein absoluter Ohrenschmaus und versüßte uns jeden Morgen das Frühstück. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!!!

Das Haus mit seinem Grundstück inklusive Beschreibung ist sehr passend zur Realität. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden um sich rundum wohl zufühlen und selbst zu versorgen. Die Nachbarschaft war nett und die Umgebung ruhig. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns zu Hause. Man kann zu Fuß, Auto, Roller, Fahrrad, etc. losziehen und erlebt einiges und es gibt viel zu bestaunen. Herrliche Gegend! Wir kommen wieder! Vive la France :-)

Wir haben inzwischen unseren vierten Urlaub als vierköpfige Familie mit Hund im Haus Les deux Palmiers verbracht. Jedes Mal haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Im gepflegten Pool kann man sich prima abkühlen. Der Ortskern von Grimaud ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Unsere Spaziergänge nach und in Grimaud haben wir immer sehr genossen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war stets verbindlich und unkompliziert; fast freundschaftlich. Vielen Dank und bis bald!

Nochmals einen herzlichen Dank an den Vermieter! Wir haben sein Haus sehr kurzfristig gebucht, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Bezüglich der An-und Abreisezeiten war er sehr kulant, was uns mit 2 kleinen Kindern sehr entgegen kam. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten wunderschön, sonnig und gut gepflegt. Der Ort (Grimaud) ist ein guter Standpunkt um das trubelige Umland zu erkunden. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft ruhig und doch ist das Zentrum nicht weit. Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

This was our second stay and again this location is wonderful to enjoy this beautiful region and housing, our kids enjoyed the very clean pool and we enjoyed the well equipped house with a colorful garden and our morning walks through the forest around Grimaud to the mont roux. Toutes les bonnes choses ont malheureusement une fin. Séjour de une semaine dans cette magnifique maison. Descriptif conforme à l'annonce bien que y etre est beaucoup mieu . Piscine agréable et adapté aux enfants en bas âge . Très belle terrasse pour profiter de la piscine et du barbecue. Maison très bien exposé , très bien situé . Tôut y est . Rien ne manque ( lave vaiselle , lave linge , sèche linge , vaiselle ....) . Literie de qualité . Jardin très bien entretenue . Maisôn très tres très propre. Contact facile et agréable avec le propriétaire . Que dire de la gentillesse de Me Aubin . Bref tout est parfait ( proximité immédiate des commerces et de saint Tropez ) allez y les yeux fermés !

Wir verbrachten herrliche Ferien mit vier Kindern in dem wunderschönen Haus. Im Vorfeld der Reise war uns Herr Curtillet sehr behilflich mit verschiedenen Tips und der Beantwortung von Fragen. Vor Ort würden wir sehr freundlich von Madame Aubin empfangen. Das Haus eignet sich wunderbar für eine große Familie und ist nicht nur praktisch , sondern auch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich gleich sehr wohl und der Charme des Hauses ist groß. Das Zentrum von Grimeaud mit seinen malerischen Gassen und Häusern lässt sich zu Fuß gut erreichen. Aber auch die übrigen Orte sind gut erreichbar, wenn man nicht gerade zu Stoßzeiten unterwegs ist. Der Pool im Garten war so erfrischend, dass wir nur ab und zu ans Meer gefahren sind. Es war ein rund um wunderschöner Urlaub und wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Мы с семьей провели 2 недели в начале июня на вилле "Две Пальмы". Его нам порекомендовали знакомые и мы остались в полном восторге! Дом очень чистый и ухоженный, обставлен со вкусом, всё хорошего качества, кухня экипирована, есть гриль на улице, очень красивый сад и божеская цена. Бассейн хоть и небольшой, но для освежения после пляжа/рынков/экскурсий просто супер. Сад вечером подсвечивается, создается очень необыкновенная атмосфера и можно шикарно ужинать свежезагриленную рыбу! Мммм :-) В булочную утром пешком за свежим багетом и в четверг - на рынок. Для более спортивных имеются велосипеды. Хозяин - француз, а его жена, Лена, говорит по-русски и дала нам много полезных советов. Нам все очень понравилось, если получится, мы бы очень хотели вернуться, а если у нас не получится, рекомендуем это сделать Вам!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub als fünf-köpfige Familie. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und wunderbar eingerichtet. Alles perfekt. Der morgige Spaziergang nach Grimaud mit kurzem Stop an der Büßerkapelle und Einkauf beim Bäcker und kleinem Geschäft dauert ca. 15 Minuten und ist besonders empfehlenswert. Wir haben den Tag am Strand Pampellone im Strandrestaurant Orangerie verbracht. Wasserqualität ist top und das Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Eine runde Sache um eine erholsame Woche in einer wunderschönen Region zu verbringen.

Es war für uns tatsächlich etwas Ähnliches wie "nach Hause kommen". Wie schon im Vorjahr durften wir wiederum eine wunderschöne Frühlings-Ferienwoche in Herrn Curtillets Haus verbringen. Der Garten ist sehr schön geworden. Der beheizte Pool, das Meer in der Nähe (10 Min. mit dem Auto), der Morgenspaziergang zum Dorf Grimaud, der Expresso, das feine Baguette und süssen Leckereien der Patisserie du Chateau fehlen uns bereits wieder. Wenn möglich kommen wir wieder.

Herrliche Septembertage in Grimaud

Wir haben Anfang September 2 Wochen bei herrlichem Wetter in der Villa les deux palmiers verbringen dürfen, und haben es sehr genossen. Empfangen wurden wir von einer sehr netten Hausverwalterin, die alles gut erklärt. Die Betten sind schon frisch bezogen und Handtücher waren auch absolut ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr charmant eingerichtet. Wunderschön auch die herrlichen Cottofliesen im Wohnbereich. Die drei Bäder entspannen die Morgentoilette doch sehr, sodass man nicht erst um die Mittagszeit am Frühstückstisch sitzt. Die Küche ist auch sehr gut mit Geschirr, Gläsern, Töpfen (wirklich sehr gute Le Creuset Töpfe) usw.ausgestattet. Einzig der fehlende Backofen trübte die Kochfreuden ein wenig, dies war uns aber vorher bekannt. Der Garten mit Pool ist sehr schön angelegt mit Olivenbaum, Feigenbaum (die reifen Feigen haben wunderbar geschmeckt) und natürlich Palmen. Abends kann man die indirekte Beleuchtung der Bäume und des Pools genießen. Einmal die Woche kommt der Poolmann vorbei und reinigt den Pool. Dies stört jedoch in keinster Weise.Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, so dass ein Urlaub mit Hund auch sehr entspannend verläuft (sehr hundefreundlich - Fressnapf, Wassernapf und Körbchen sind vorhanden). Wir haben uns dieses Haus auch wegen der Nähe zur Ortsmitte von Grimaud ausgesucht, und wurden hier nicht enttäuscht. Alles lässt sich wunderbar zu Fuß erreichen: Altstadt, Burg und sehr schöne kleine Wanderungen z.B. zur pont des fées. Morgens erreicht man in 10 Minuten bei einem schönen Spaziergang den Bäcker und genießt im Garten das Frühstück dann um so mehr. Den kürzesten Weg in die Ortsmitte findet man gut beschrieben in einem Ordner, sowie weitere wertvolle Tipps. Da das Haus in einer Senke liegt, können die Straßengeräusche tagsüber, speziell der Mofa-und Motoradfahrer, je nach Windrichtung, etwas störend sein. Die Nächte sind jedoch sehr ruhig. Als Ausgangspunkt für jede Menge Ausflüge ist Grimaud ebenso ideal. Wir möchten auch hervorheben, das der Hausherr sehr nett ist und immer erreichbar war, wenn man Fragen hatte. Auch die Buchung und die Rückgabe der Kaution waren komplikationslos. Wir werden mit Freude an diesen Aufenthalt zurückdenken und können das Haus nur empfehlen. Á bientôt!

Wir haben auf der Villa Les 2 Palmiers 2 letzte September Wochen verbracht und haben es wirklich genoßen. Das Haus ist liebevoll ästhetisch und mit einer persönlichen Note eingerichtet - es fehlt auch nichts an Komfort. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet sodass man leicht die Rezepte okzitanischer Küche gleich nachkochen kann und abends auf der Terrasse zu sich nehmen kann. Den beheizten Pool haben wir täglich benutzt. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man hat kein vis-a-vis. Grimaud ist wirklich eins des schönsten Dörfer in der Umgebung und beitet viel zu sehen. Das war ein traumhafter Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder ins Les deux palmiers!!!

Wir haben eine Woche im Herbst 2009 in der Villa 2 Palmiers verbracht und konnten sie richtig geniessen. Der Garten ist nicht übermässig gross, dafür kann man ihn auch bei brütender Hitze nutzen, weil Bäume und eine Loggia Schatten spenden. Das Haus bietet alles, was es braucht - mit einer Ausnahme: Als wir Pizza machen wollten, haben wir festgestellt, dass es in der Küche keinen Ofen gibt. Nun gut, man kommt in den Ferien auch ohne aus.
