Location - at the literal feet of the stairway to the Bridge of Lies. The nice, clean apartment is hidden in an old building (1881) There are old pictures of it in the apartment's lobby that are made when the building was young. The Sibiu courtyards are communal for more properties, I think, so don't be fooled by this one's look. More like an OCD trigger for me than a negative thing: the entrance gate does not close properly at first try. I gave a thought to fixing it that I immediately abandoned as the gate itself seems (by the beautiful pictures in the lobby) to be of an age with the building itself. What I actually didn't like is that I couldn't fix it ! :)))

Renovating the shared courtyard would have me returning just to enjoy a "spritz" in it's cool during a warm summer evening (it really is cool !) Insect screens and a little on/off light on the second floor wooden landing (near and for the ceramic covered table with chairs) were the only things lacking if that can be considered a miss.

Very close to main attractions.

Just an observation, not a complaint: for the apartment, the kitchen and the entrance to the bathroom are in one of the rooms where one of the beds is.

the design of the room and location. The owner was able to meet us due to confusion of the taxi driver and location. Owner was very nice, and gave clear communication. I would use this apartment again.

Maybe coffee, and tea for the machine, short supply. Minor complaint.

The two apartments we ended up staying in from May 25-30 were beautiful. The furnishings were gorgeous and felt like real luxury. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had the basics in it. It was just a shame we couldn’t stay in the apartment we had originally booked for the whole time.

We had a complicated stay. They were kind in letting us change the dates, from April to May as my daughter has an ankle injury. They told us when we rebooked that the original apartment (with two bedrooms) wasn’t available but they would upgrade us to a better one. When we arrived we found a lovely room, but only one bed! We shared for two nights, then they moved us to the original apartment for two nights (which was great) but then asked us to move back to the single bedroom on our last night. In the end we booked a hotel. So it was a frustrating trip as we didn’t really get what we had paid for and booked. This should have been explained before we arrived as we only continued with the holiday as the accommodation wouldn’t do a refund. We had to go with a wheelchair and crutches and when we arrived on a late flight and had to get everything upstairs we got a noise complaint! The other thing that was odd is that in the first morning the cleaner walked into the apartment, with my daughter still in bed, to take towels and sheets out of a cupboard for the other apartments! It felt a bit surreal and like we didn’t have any privacy. However the cleaner way friendly and helpful, but she looked embarrassed to have to come into our room when we weren’t really ready for the day. In the original apartment with two rooms be aware that one bed is in the kitchen! Also the shower is only a handheld one..
