10 km from Firenze: Holiday development "Il Borgo", renovated in 2009. 15 apartments in the property. 10 km from the centre of Firenze, 19 km from the centre of Greve in Chianti, 70 km from the centre of Siena, in an elevated position on top of a hill, in the countryside. For shared use: garden (fenced), swimming pool (14 x 7 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 03.May. - 27.Sep.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, children's playground. In the complex: reception, WiFi, central heating system, washing machine (for shared use), heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 07.Apr.. Motor access to the house (200 m via unmade road). Parking at the house. Shop 1 km, grocery 1 km, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 1 km, bar 1 km, bus stop "Grassina 31 - 32" 1 km, sandy beach "Versilia" 120 km. Golf course (18 hole) 4 km, indoor tennis centre 7 km. The holiday farm Borgo is a old village dated back to the 16 century situated on the hill surrounding Toscana and hugging Florence. The farm is set on a landscape with olive trees, vineyards and cypresses. It has been completely renovated with care to the original features of the typical tuscan country houses. Borgo has 15 apartments, all independant, tastefully furnished. There is a large private car park and the whole area is monitored by video surveillance. The apartments are set in a large garden ideal to relax and walk around. The wonderful panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage and sun deck is situated just a few yards from the apartments. wi-fi service only in the outside area.

You really can't get a better rental in Tuscany. The apartment was perfect! It's a short drive into Florence with all the comforts of home. The property manager was friendly and knowledgeable of the area, even giving us some local wine to try. My only complaints would be having to be outside to use the wifi and the additional heating costs were a bit expensive. Even with those 2 negatives, I highly recommend the rental.
