About this cottage rental
LA CASONA- Beautiful stone and wood house with very large spaces and beautiful views of the mountains and the Romanesque church.
Ground floor: Large living room, very large kitchen, 1 double room (1 extra bed), 1 bathroom, 1 additional toilet. Yard.
Upstairs: 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 additional toilet, small kitchen, a living room with large window and magnificent mountain views, 1 double sofa bed.
Casona with garden and beautiful views, combining the beauty of traditional stone and wood architecture and a careful interior design, with all the necessary amenities to spend a few days of rest in a quiet and very careful.
The house is located in Sotosalbos, a town with special charm, one of the 250 most beautiful villages in Spain (El Viajero-El Pais), one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Segovia, 17 km from Segovia, Pedraza and La Granja de San Ildefonso and 100 km from Madrid, in the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
We have other houses in the same town. The other houses are called Saltus Alvus and are not far from the Casona.

Estuvimos en agosto en la casita de la chimenea con dos niños. La casa es preciosa, habitación muy amplia y una terraza fantástica y un jardín. El pueblo donde se encuentra es también muy bonito y tranquilo. Muy recomendable, tanto para descansar como para visitar Segovia y los pueblos del alrededor. Muchas gracias Begoña por tu hospitalidad.

Una casita estupenda con un rincon en el jardin para leer precioso, en un pueblo muy tranquilo con una iglesia romanica que es una joya. Begoña muy hospitalar con esas madalenas para el desayuno y el cafe' ,azu'car y aceite para pasar el fin de semana, son detalles que se agradecen. Solo heche' de menos un espejo de cuerpo entero.Para repetir.

Estuvimos la primera semana de agosto en el Loft del Jardín. La casa es espectacular, con jardín propio, y eso yendo con una niña es de agradecer. Todas las dependencias son muy espaciosas y la cocina muy bien preparada, tiene todo lo que necesitas, lavadora, lavavajillas, frigorífico y todo el menaje necesario. Incluso Begoña, nos compró una plancha y su respectiva tabla antes de que llegáramos.
El entorno es sensacional y puedes dar agradables paseos por el campo mientras ves las vacas pastar, y todo está a tiro de piedra: Segovia, Pedraza, La Granja......Para nuestra suerte, esa semana eran las fiestas del pueblo y aunque es pequeñito, las orquestas por las noches eran estupendas.
Begoña es muy amable e hizo todo lo posible para que nos sintiéramos como en casa.....y lo consiguió!
En fin, pasamos una semana fantástica en esta fabulosa casa rural, descanso y relax........
Lo único que eché en falta fue un armario en el dormitorio donde poder colocar la ropa, ya que aunque hay uno pequeñito (sin baldas) se queda corto para la ropa de toda una semana y la tuve que tener en la maleta.

Mi marido, mi hijo y yo estuvimos en el puente de mayo. La estacia fue maravillosa, sitio tranquilo, la casita perfectamente equipada, el trato de Begoña inmejorable (gracias por recomendarnos La Tabernita para cenar!!).
Repetiremos seguro!!!!
