House was wonderful but Rats!
The house was nice and so was the area, nice for walks and hikes, also Katrina the woman we were put in contact with was very helpful and available.
Since the first day we were shown around my friends and I realized that there was a strange smell in the movie room. We decided to ignore it and thought it was the fact that thw whole chalet is made out of wood but after 2 night there the smell was unbearable. We ended up lifting the couches to see if there was something dead because that’s how bad the smell was. As we lift one of the couches we find a dead rat that had been decomposing for at least 3 days since the smell was there when we first got there. Bare in mind that we found another dead rat in the movie room the 2nd day we were there but we had seen it roam around the movie room before. There were also rats in between the first floor and the second floor which made loud noises at night which made sleeping very hard. After talking with the owners, we were compensated not even 20 percent of what we payed even though we had to stay 3 days living with dead and living rats. I highly do not recommend this place.
