If I could rate this villa higher I would. We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday with ages ranging from 18mths to 63yrs who had travelled from the UK and New Zealand to be together. The spot was idyllic with an amazing view and the sea is at the bottom of the steps. There was a paddle board which everyone loved. I have never seen such crystal clear water. It’s a maximum 10 min walk into Klek which is a lovely little town. The villa itself is perfect, well equipped, comfortable and clean but the best thing were the wonderful hosts Klaus and Marija. They couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. One of our party had a tooth infection and they took him to the dentist and collected the antibiotics for him. It was the perfect holiday and I can’t recommend this villa highly enough.

A beautiful spacious home just next to the sea. It has a wonderful homely feeling, with all the amenities we needed. It is a great spot for swimming and snorkeling with a cute little island you can swim to. The location is also great if you want to visit some historical sites in Dalmatia such as Dubrovnik, Ston, and Korcula. But the absolute stars of this place are the owners, their caring and loveliness made our visit absolutely the best. Thank You!

We have been there with 7 children and 2 adults. Enough space for everyone. All equipment there. In particular jumping into the water directly after getting up or just to cool down is a dream. The hosts Marija and Hans are very very nice and supportive. They know everyone and everything around and provide good hints. Day trips to Stone, River Delta, Doubrovnik, Mostar, Split and with the local skipper are highly recommended. Wo would go there each time again!

Magical location with beautiful views and direct access to the sea - very spacious property in great location with easy access to Split and Dubrovnik - Klaus & Maria were lovely hosts & the cats and tortoises gave great entertainment - we all enjoyed the paddle board and daily swims to the island - would highly recommend & wish we could have stayed longer!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. it is a furnished property, situated directly by the sea with its own entrance to the sea. the hosts are very nice and accommodating people. they lived at the bottom of the property and were always willing to help. children appreciated the cats and turtles running freely around the garden 😉 Klek is a small town right on the border with Bosnia. it is a small and quiet bay with a nice beach. We really enjoyed the holiday. Many thanks to Maria and Klaus for a pleasant stay.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing time at the villa. There were 6 of us and we found everything we needed was either already there or provided for us. Maria is just wonderful! We wanted to organise a little boat trip and Maria drove us to the next village to ask around there. Nothing was too much trouble for her! We prepared our lunches on the terrace, read, slept and generally just relaxed. Evenings we had dinner in one of the restaurants in the village (charming waiter Ivan!). It was very quiet in Klek which suited us just fine. Altogether a wonderful stay and wonderful host! Thank you!

Wir hatten zu sechst eine tolle Zeit im Haus von Marjia. Der private Steg und das Haus sind super und Marjia als Gastgeberin ganz wunderbar! Einzig der Ort selbst, Klek, ist nicht so schön, wenige nicht gute Restaurants und zudem heruntergekommen. Zu Fuß erreicht man leider keine weiteren Orte/Restaurants, ein Auto ist unabdingbar. Im Haus kann man aber gut kochen, wer allerdings viel ausgehen möchte ist nicht richtig dort.

Absolut empfehlenswert!!

Der Aufenthalt bei Marija in Klek hätte besser nicht sein können! Das Ferienhaus liegt absolut malerisch und ruhig in einer Bucht mit wahnsinnig klarem Wasser, vielen Fischen und geringem Wellengang. Man kann sehr schön schwimmen und schnorcheln, und auch eine kleinere Insel innerhalb der Bucht ansteuern. Die Zimmer, Küche und Terrasse bieten alle Annehmlichkeiten die man sich wünschen kann. Es gibt sehr viele süße Mickys (so nennt Marija alle Katzen und Schildkröten die auf dem Gelände vorbeischauen) die sich über Streicheleinheiten freuen und liebevoll von Marija versorgt werden. Der private Zugang zum Meer über die eigene Mole ist super, und es steht sogar ein SUP bereit für alle die sich daran versuchen wollen. Man erreicht schnell Dubrovnik, Ston und Mostar, kann aber auch hervorragend einfach die Zeit im Haus genießen. Das wahre Highlight des Aufenthalts ist jedoch Marija, die Gastgeberin, die sich wirklich rührend darum kümmert dass man sich wohl fühlt und gerne Fisch für das Abendessen auf dem vorhandenen Grill oder um die Organisation einer Bootstour kümmert. Preis-Leistungstechnisch hätten wir uns nichts besseres wünschen können! Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall auf den nächsten Besuch!

Die Vermieter waren herzlich, zuvorkommend und haben uns mit vielen nützlichen Tipps versorgt. Das Ferienhaus ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern. 10 Personen finden darin reichlich Platz. Meer war die ganzen 14 Tage sehr ruhig, da die Bucht von davorliegenden Landzungen geschützt ist. Wasser war immer glasklar. In ca. 19 km Entfernung ( Neretva-Mündung) ist ein allgemein zugänglicher Sandstrand.

Un superbe séjour : la maison c'est le paradis !! Sur l'eau avec ses terrasses nous étions vraiment bien, elle est très agréable à vivre, très bien équipée très bonne literie .. à proximité du petit centre avec ses bars et restaurants. Marija et Klaus nous ont très très bien acceuilli, gentils et extrèmement serviables : rien à redire bien au contraire, triste de repartir .. Un grand merci à eux pour ce séjour. Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen verbracht: im herrlich klaren und wellenarmen Meer (ideal zum Schwimmen und Herumpaddeln), auf der privaten Mole, auf der schattigen Terrasse, mit Katzen und Steinschildkröten (!) - und nicht zuletzt mit den beiden sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermietern.

Ein wunderschöner Ort an dem man sich herrlich entspannen konnte. Die Vermieter/in war mit guten Ratschlägen und vielen Tips, was man so in der Gegend anstellen kann, immer zur Stelle. Wir haben die zwei Wochen mit der Familie unglaublich gut genießen können und würden uns auf ein Wiedersehen mit den Menschen und dem Haus freuen. Aus diesem Grund vergeben wir 5 Sterne.

Wer sich erholen will, also eher Ruhe als Trubel sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Am Meisten begeistert hat meine Kinder (in der Reihenfolge): die Kätzchen, die Schildkröten, der Bootsausflug und die Nähe zum Wasser. Marija als sehr liebe und aufmerksame Gastgeberin und beinahe immer verfügbar ist natürlich auch ein grosses Plus. Wir, Familie mit 4 Kindern, einem Cousin und befreundeten Ehepaar war sehr zufrieden und haben uns ausserordentlich gut erholt. Obwohl Juni, war es schon sehr heiss und die Klimaanlage war da genau richtig. Der "Beihnahe-Privatstrand" (eigentlich öffentlich-aber wir waren immer alleine) war super. Für uns angenehm war auch der nette Schattenplatz und dass die Sonne nachmittags nicht mehr voll auf den Strandabschnitt schien.Preis-Leistung Sommer gegenüber Pfingsten war auch super! Wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder buchen.

Tolle Lage, charmantes Haus, für erholsame Ferien.

Wir waren zu fünft, 2 Erwachsene, 3 Teenager und haben herrliche Tage Anfang August verbracht. Das Haus ist ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Ein paar Restaurants und Geschäfte, bei denen man Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf bekommt sind vorhanden. Es sind vorwiegend Familien mit kleineren Kindern in der Hauptsaison anzutreffen. Für unsere 3 Teenager war in Klek selbst weniger geboten, mit Auto kann man aber zahlreiche Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung nach Ston oder auch nach Bosnien Herzegowina z.B. zu den Kravica-Wasserfällen machen und in pulsierenden Städten wie Makarska einen Abend verbringen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Wunderbar gelegenes Haus für Ausflüge nach Dubrovnic und vor allem nach Bosnien.
