The owner is a tremendously warm and welcoming person who showed us all of the wonderful options that this dream vacation home offers. Located in the peaceful and remote vineyards of Southern Burgenland, this traditional cellar house was recently completely renovated and modernized. We arrived in early June to see the beautiful house garden in bloom. The cherries were ripe in the trees and the landscape was verdant and blooming. We enjoyed hikes and bike rides through the vineyards as well as relaxing local outings. In the evenings we would enjoy a glass of the fabulous local wine in the tranquility of the back patio. One evening we had a wonderful visit from the neighbor who was an expert musician and played his accordion for us. On one evening we visited the local Heurigen where we had incredible local foods and wines and had a great chance to meet and learn about the area from local townspeople. We have visited many places around the world but this was a unique and special visit which was very enriching and we will treasure it, as well as the great people we met, all of our lives. The house was pristine and excellent. I wish I could put it in my pocket and take it with me but we will just have to return one day as it was a dream of tranquility and joy come true.
