The renovation was very tastefully done. The accommodation was of a very high standard. Everything thing we needed was provided. Couldn’t fault anything. Great location for exploring further afield.

The instructions were clear and provided in advance.

I really struggled driving the car out of the drive as you couldnt see oncoming traffic. Perhaps a mirror across the road would help?

Overall an excellent base for exploring the Scottish highlands.

The location was brilliant and the aesthetics of the property were lovely. Highland cows to the rear of the property were a nice treat.

The property has been well used during the covid season. Possibly a rushed clean up in preparation for our arrival.

Best school ever!

Everything. Couldn’t fault it! So warm and cosy, lovely period fixtures and fittings, the welcome pack with home baked loaf, comfortable beds, great bath! Just loved it.

A Scottish Gem

Lovely location for exploring Scotland Evelix is unique.. lots of little quirks, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated. The highland cow neighbours are a added bonus. Will hope to return one day

Beautiful property, very comfortable beds. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend and stay again. All the little touches and homemade cake on arrival also went down very well!

In a nice quiet location and very central for visiting lots of areas

there could have been bedside cabinets and lamps to read in bed by. There could have also been better clothes hangers in the wardrobe. a small coffee table between the two settees would have been easier to use for glasses or cups

Very comfortable highland house.

Great location for touring this area. The accommodation is exceptionally well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a very comfortable stay. The property has been sympathetically renovated, retaining many features. The house was spotless on our arrival and we felt very safe given the current situation re Covid-19. Welcome pack was a lovely gesture. The garden has many different areas to make the most of the sunshine at any time of the day. We would definitely return.

Schönes antikes, konfortables Haus

Das Haus wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und der Garten ist riesengross und wunderschön. Es erinnert an ein altes Anwesen. Es gab ein Willkommensgeschenk (Eier, Shortbread und ein selbst gemachter Zitronen Cake) und es war alles sehr gut beschrieben in einem Ordner was man für den Aufenthalt wissen muss. Die Ankunft/Abreise war unkompliziert dank dem Schlüsselsafe. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charm und im grossen und ganzen alles was man für den Aufenthalt braucht.

Das Haus ist nicht optimal für eine Familie mit jüngeren Kindern, da die beiden Schlafzimmer sehr weit voneinander entfernt sind. Sie liegen beide am jeweils anderen Ende des Hauses und eines ist sogar noch einen Stock höher. Einen Minuspunkt gibt es von mir wegen der Sauberkeit. Oberflächlich war es ok aber wenn man genauer hinschaut war es nicht ganz sauber. Vor allem die Waschmaschine und Spühlmaschine. Die Matratzen sind steinhart, ist aber auch Geschmackssache.

--> wunderschön eingerichtete Unterkunft --> gut ausgestattete Küche --> das Haus war super sauber bei unserer Anreise --> generell sehr komfortable Unterkunft --> der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist absolut positiv hervorzuheben
