The apartment is idyllically located on the edge of the beautiful health resort Burg. The Kiel Canal is within walking distance and invites to long walks or bike rides, the view of the canal and the Hochdonner railway bridge is beautiful. The forest around Burg is partly used by the forest museum. There are two forest-historical plantations and a rock garden with boulders from glacial pastures. At the street Am Papenknüll is a reclaimed heathland with Bronze Age burial mounds. It was recognized by the Ministry of the Environment Schleswig-Holstein as a nature experience space. North Sea / bathing beaches are approx. 18 km away. In addition to an impressive landscape, Burg also offers a lot of culinary delights, as far as the town center with shopping facilities, restaurants are only a few minutes' walk away.
