About this house rental
Newly remodeled single level home in 'Harbortown at The Landings' Fort Myers. Harbortown is the most desirable community in The Landings. The only free standing home with two car garage and a water view of the Caloosahatchee river. Views from living/dining room, screened lanai and breakfast/family room (which also features a fireplace!). You can pay a $300 dollar fee for golf and tennis & Pickle-ball privileges (beautiful brand new Pickle-ball facility at The Landings) for 2.
Master suite has new king bed, island style furniture, granite and high end fixtures with jacuzzi tub accessing private courtyard.
Two spacious queen bedrooms and third bedroom features a day bed with trundle for one adult or two children. Guest bathroom is renovated with dual basins, full bath and separate shower. Powder room (half bath) with granite counter tops.
The Landings, with all its amenities (golf, tennis, marina) is only a 15 minute drive from Sanibel Island and beaches. The Harbortown swimming pool with patio and BBQ facilities is only 100 feet away from the home (home also comes with a barbecue on site). The Wheelhouse on the water has been completely remodeled and features expanded outdoor dining as well as a lovely restaurant and bar. The Landings requires an application be sent to the board for approval. The fee is $50.00 and I am not able to confirm a reservation until the application is approved. If for any reason the rental is not approved by the board (It has never not been approved!). This is a club atmosphere with full amenities, and is a very social environment. Short term rentals are not accepted for that reason. It is a unique for that reason and people love it. We have had multiple guests return for subsequent years. During the main prime season (Jan 1-March 31) we rent from the first of the month to the end of the month and we are only considering 3 month rentals during the months of January though March. We will offer a discounted price for 4 or more month rentals and a more substantial discount for a 6 month rental. Also consider 6 month rentals are vacation tax free.

We spent a month in this beautiful four bedroom home in The Landings, a gated community in Fort Myers, Florida. The home was stylishly furnished and very comfortable to stay in. The home has a lovely view of the river, and we spent most evenings with our wine on the lanai just gazing at the river. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for about 5 weeks. The house was large enough to accommodate our three grown sons and a daughter in law. The location of the house is just perfect for enjoying peace and quiet yet remaining close to all the amenities in the Landings. The owner is quick to respond to any questions or problems that might arise. The washer blew a circuit in our first week and the owner made arrangements to have it fixed as soon as possible...nice. The beds are comfortable and the two car garage is great when guests visit. We golfed, rented a boat for a day and ate at the Helms and Wheelhouse restaurants. We used the Harbortown pool and met some of the lovely neighbors in the area. Biking around Ft. Myers is supurb and downtown is nearby and fun. Sanibel and Ft. Myers Beach are nearby, too. The only thing missing to make this house perfect was a gas grill. I missed grilling out for dinnera lot. Other than that, this is an ideal home in an ideal setting to enjoy the Ft. Myers area.
