Condo on the beach in Destin!

Clean and beautiful! The condo was nicely decorated. We loved that there were two full bathrooms, the cabinets were fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware and everything you need to bake with. There is a keurig and toaster too! The view from the balcony was awesome. You can see the ocean and see how the waves are. The walk to the beach was a couple minutes (This includes taking the elevator down to parking area and literally walking down the parking lot to the beach, no crossing a road!). Make sure to bring any food or seasonings you may need. There is a Publix and Walmart not too far to buy groceries at. The pool and hot tub were great. It was a quiet area. The only small complaint I would have is that the mattress in master bedroom was pretty firm and a little uncomfortable. However, my kids loved their bed in their room and mother in law said the couch pull out was comfortable. We hope to stay here again and are thankful for a wonderful first stay! We’ve stayed up and down Miramar. We loved this location. It was quiet and still able to walk to so many places too! The two king beds were perfect and we loved sunsets from the balcony.

The condo was in perfect shape, very clean and not too busy. Bonus points for having an ice machine! The owner was super quick to respond when I needed help. The only suggestion would be to allow guests to have access to a closet of basic beach toys/accessories, ie. balls, buckets, shovels. It makes a difference for those who travel by plane. Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

The condo is super clean and you can tell it was updated. We did not have a rental vehicle as none were available, so we paid $50 for a lyft from the airport. The location is great for the beach because it is not overly crowded compared to the others nearby, and it's a short walk without the hassle of being gated off like other properties. Having the 2 chairs and umbrella were nice also so you can get out of the sun. If you do not want to pay for a rental vehicle, this is not close to eating places we had to always take an uber/lyft. It is across the street from the shopping outlet, as well as the grocery store so at least we could walk to get groceries. We like a firm mattress, but if you don't the king bed is extremely hard, by the end of the week our backs hurt. Our friends said the queen room bed was ok. The extra ice machine was great - we did not have to buy ice once. For two days straight the fire alarms went off every 30 minutes which was highly annoying, and at one point went off for over 30 minutes at one time in our building. I texted the owner to see why, and the response I got was frustrating. Did not apologize nor was sympathetic, just - oh it happened to us too. That made us not want to come back to Mainsail in general. Overall we're satisfied with our first stay in Destin. Next time we will stay in Sandestin where you can walk to eat.
