Beautiful setting with views directly on to Champagne Castle and Cathkin Peak. Close to all amenities. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, cosy lounge. Hosts attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. Lovely braai area. No wi-fi but reasonable cellphone signal, even Telkom. Water pressure somewhat temperamental but adequate for bathing and washing. My only suggestion would be an oil-fin heater to take the edge off winter temperatures. All in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Guy and Carron were amazing! And so were adorable Billy (dog) and pet company!
Carron was very kind to send constant communication and check-in and advise us about the best route to get to the property.
The farm was so cool and we could access all major attractions in the Champagne Valley Central Drakensberg quite easily.
Carron and Guy took utmost care to explain everything to us and arrange every little thing that you may need for a comfortable stay. I had a great chat with Guy, and he has great know-how of everything around life in general!
The kitchen facilities were great, the utensils were of very good quality.
One fine morning, we noted a beautiful buck right outside our bedroom window. What a sight that was!
And the mountain covered with clouds... so beautiful!
All in all, we loved our stay at Annasrus!
The carpets may need replacement or deep cleaning as they have an odour.
The water flow in pipes can be a little annoying at times but not a big worry. At a farm, you're getting all the facilities and that is a big plus.
If you are showering, make sure kitchen taps are not on :)
Oh, and there is no internet offered btw.. and you should not be needing one here.. take a complete break! No issues with phone signals though.

We had a perfect stay. Cozy, clean and very special hosts. A lovely cottage for a winter stay! Would skip other activities to relax at the fireplace with a good book.
Our only regret is not staying longer.
