Côte d'Azur villa with stunning sea views for rent on the Giens Peninsula

Sehr gute Lage in in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, von wo man zu Fuß zu schönen Plätzen an der Südküste der Halbinsel, zum Hafen La Tour Fondue, zum Inselrundweg und zur Fähre nach Porquerolles gehen kann. Auch die Bushaltestelle nach Hyeres sehr nah. Die Aussicht in zwei Richtungen vom Wohnzimmer und von der Terrasse ist wirklich klasse. Das Haus hat einen sehr großen Wohn- und Essbereich, Küchenutensilien und auch Lesestoff sind reichlich vorhanden. Die 1960er-Jahre-Anmutung muss man allerdings mögen, Bad und Schlafzimmer in der unteren Etage fanden wir nicht wirklich einladend und ziemlich vermieft. Das große Naturgrundstück mit vielen Bäumen und Sträuchern ist sehr schattig - im Sommer sicher wunderbar, für einen Aufenthalt im Winterhalbjahr (wir waren im März da), wenn man sich auch mal über einen Sonnenstrahl freut, würde ich es nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Die Vermieterin meldete sich häufig per Telefon mit Tipps (die nicht immer stimmten) und Wünschen - auch das muss man mögen. Zum Schluss gab es leider noch Irritationen über den sehr hohen Preis des Wäschesets.

Presqu'ille de Giens is a wonderful place and this is the perfect house to stay in while visiting. The house is very private. It is located on a quiet side road with property around it. The views from the terrace are beautiful; when it is chilly you can sit inside the living room and enjoy the views. From the house you can take any number of walks, including to the beach, to the Sentier Littoral (access across the street), into town (15 minutes or so.) Our visit was in April. The weather was sparkling: cool, windy and sunny. There are wall heaters in the rooms to keep the house warm and comfortable. I had visited Giens before in the summer; it was a happy surprise to enjoy Giens without the crowds and in weather that made walking a pleasure. The upstairs has a very pleasant large living room and a kitchen that is well equipped(look for the stove top espresso maker- it is there.) Downstairs are three simple and comfortable bedrooms. Everything is very clean. Katrin was helpful and friendly. Our only regret was that we coudn't stay longer. We certainly hope to return.

Une impasse, puis un petit chemin mène à une maison entourée de végétation méditerranéenne, ensuite un grand salon rempli de livres avec vue sur la mer. C est un oasis de tranquillité. Propriétaire attentive a votre bien être.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Katrin. Sa maison est super, avec une vue magnifique. Katrin est vraiment très disponible, facilement joignable et de bons conseils!
