Stylish, modern, central apartment in St. Julians,

We were delighted with this apartment well located not far from Spinola Bay where it is possible to take the bus to almost all places in Malta. The apartment was comfortable and especially very cool during the heat wave! The owner was very efficient and friendly. To sum up, we had a very nice holiday in Malta and recommend this accommodation to future holidaymakers.

Apartment was a bit damp-smelling (especially the bathroom), did not realize it was like a semi-basement, but we also know now how bad the humidity is here, so this was actually quite normal. Directions from airport were a bit confusing and we had gotten in late (9:30pm) so host was not very happy about that but there was nothing we could do. We finally found the place with our Uber (after almost a year of living in Malta we now realize how problematic addresses can sometimes be), host’s wife greeted us and handled the rest of our stay. She was very nice. Overall a nice place, just not an awful lot of sunlight and somewhat damp-smelling.

The house was a great location, especially for those who are going to the Gateway school for an exchange program. The owners were super helpful and friendly and responded quickly to a small plumbing issue we had. The house is exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a two month stay.

We really enjoyed our stay beside all the smaller incidents that have occurred. Due to the humidity being very intens we didn’t let the fresh air circulate in the apartment the first months. Therefore mold had grown on the walls in both rooms and kitchen.However the house manager did helps us out with this and clean the whole apartment, no charges!The communication between us and the house manager was also good. They would always respond quite quickly. We also received some fruits from them as they were very kind to us. There is no airconditioning, so beware when booking this if you’re wanting to stay there in the summer, as malta gets quite warm. We also had some issues with ants/inesects. But again they helped us out by providing us with cleaning sprays to get rid off them. The shower was unfortunately not always hot, we really struggled with getting it to be the right temperature. But it’s fine. Overall, I’m really positive about the stay we had! We really enjoyed it. Its a perfect location especially for teens as its near St Julins, the clubs, Pacaville.
