Gutenburghüsli mit Garten am Fluss

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem ganzen Haus, mit den Wohnräumen verteilt über drei Stockwerke und mit Balkon in jedem Stockwerk. Vorteilhaft: das Schlafzimmer befindet sich im untersten Stockwerk (= Hochparterre), das machte sich ideal bemerkbar in der Hitzeperiode. Perfekt eingerichtet, in Bad und Küche alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Bestens organisierte Müllentsorgung. Großer Garten, gelegen an einem rauschenden Flüßchen, alles umgeben von hohen Laubbäumen, idyllisch und meditativ! Die Gastgeber wohnen in einem anderen Ort in der Nähe und waren per Telefon bzw digital immer sofort erreichbar. Ins Haus gelangte man mit einem Code. Bushaltestelle gleich in der Nähe.

Da ich gewohnt bin, auf sehr fester Unterlage zu schlafen, war das Bett für mich zu weich (Soft Gel) - aber das ist schließlich Geschmackssache ;-)

The information provided by the hosts prior to arrival and departure was on time, clear and accurate. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We didn't need much help because everything went smoothly. Easy self/contactless check-in and check-out. At the house a PIN-terminal is available to pay your booking by debit-card (the host will visit and arrange that later on during your stay). Easy access to the plot and the holiday house by car. A parking lot for guests is available on site free of charge; ignore the road-sign which indicates that you are not allowed to drive in ('Verbot für Fahrzeuge aller Art' (StVo-Verkehrszeichen 250)) to be able to reach the parking lot. Between sunset and sunrise outside lighting switches on automatically and makes it easy to find your way to and around the house; very welcoming and practical! Two front doors (one on level 0 and one on level -1) which can be openend by code give access to the internal staircase which connects the living room (i-Radio) and kitchen (level 0), sleeping room (TV) and bathroom/toilet (level -1), sitting room (TV) and toilet (level +1). The interior and exterior of the house and its surroundings including the very spacious garden with terrace are maintained by the owners/hosts in perfect condition! The house is fresh and sparking clean and for two guests more than spacious. A semi-automatic pellet heater keeps the house on a pleasent temperature. The kitchen is compact, conveniently arranged and well equipped. Dishwasher, oven and Nespresso-machine are available. Dishwasher tabs and even coffee and tea are provided. The beds are good and the shower is perfect. Rather stable medium-speed WiFi/WLan is available for free. From the three balconies (level -1, 0, +1) you have a lovely view upon the scenic surroundings and the brook which streams along the garden.

The house, the garden, the interior...everything was perfect, clean, beautiful decorated. With a warm welcome by the proud hosts Susanne and Martin, we were flabbergasted by everything. Really good materials are used, like the bed, bathroom and furniture. All kinds of devices made it very, very complete. Like a Nespresso machine, toaster and all kitchen devices you can think of, DAB-radio.... you name it: it's there. And everything as new. And then the television room: a large flatscreen and a great sofa. A perfect room to chill after a long walk in the forest. In the garden a very good mobile fireplace, large parasol and great chairs. Also the details, like lighting, plaids, candles, even a funny Schwarzwald cuckoo clock. At the end of our stay, we wished we could stay longer or even life there ourselves. We will certainly come back and discover more in the beautiful neighbourhood of the Schwarzwald.
