The apartment (68 sqm) is located on the first floor of an apartment building in the green district of Bochum-Gerthe and has good and fast transport links to the lively city of Bochum, the modern shopping center "Ruhrpark" and the trendy nightlife district " Bermuda Triangle". Adjacent cities such as B. Essen with the world cultural heritage Zeche Zollverein and the Essen fair, but also other industrial, art and cultural sites (Starlight-Express, German Mining Museum, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Anneliese Brost Musikforum, Gasometer Oberhausen, Musical Tarzan, German Football Museum Dortmund and many more) in the Ruhr area are easy to reach.
In the district there are shops and various restaurants within walking distance.
The apartment offers everything that is needed for a short trip or longer stay.
The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, separate fridge and freezer and various coffee preparation options leave nothing to be desired.
The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower.
After an eventful day, you can relax on the balcony. Smoking is allowed here (otherwise it is a non-smoking apartment)
Free DSL internet / WiFi is provided.

Nach zu langer Corona-Abstinenz waren wir wiederholt in der gemütlichen Wohnung in Bochum Gerthe, weil sie gemütlich, sehr gut ausgestattet und für unsere Zwecke super gelegen ist.
Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern hat - wie immer - super geklappt. Pünktlich zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt konnten wir die Schlüssel entgegennehmen und uns über die top ausgestattete Küche und picobello saubere Wohnung freuen.
Gutes Internet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig, sehr ruhig.
Für unsere Unternehmungen in Bochum, Dortmund und Münsterland bestehen beste Verkehrsanbindungen.
Man ist kein Tourist, sondern wird zum Einheimischen.
Liebevoll ausgewählte Literatur über das Ruhrgebiet und ihre Bewohner hat selbst uns "Kohlenpottgewächsen" noch neue Erkenntnisse beschert. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir vermutlich zwei Tage länger buchen, um durch die umfassende Literatur zu schmöckern ;-)
Sollte man nicht aktiv in der Gegend unterwegs sein, ist die Wohnung geeignet, um sich von Besichtigungsstrapazen zu erholen. Wenn es sein muss, kann man sich auch gut aus dem Weg gehen :-)
Hotels gibt es in der ganzen Welt, aber Wohlfühlambiente in einer authentischen Umgebung: vorzugsweise in Bochum Gerthe.
