Windmill Cottage

Property was immaculate ! Lovely to arrive to tea and cake . Beautifully decorated throughout with a lovely garden to sit in . Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was perfect and the hosts were very welcoming.

Great host communication. Friendly and welcoming. A well appointed place to stay, clean and comfortable with everything you need. Easy to find, quiet and has a great place to get a drink just around the corner.

The location and the property was nice with everything needed. The owners supplied us with a care package which was a nice touch.

The property is located on the same grounds as the owner, which made it difficult to fully relax. This wasn’t mentioned in the description, and had we known, we wouldn’t have booked it. Another issue was the heating. It was set on a timer for just 2 2x two hours per day which made it too cold for the majority of our stay, and even then it didn’t always work properly. We often had to message the owner to turn it on, which felt quite uncomfortable and inconvenient. Additionally, the number of CCTV cameras around the property felt excessive and intrusive, especially for a holiday that was meant to be relaxing.
