Enjoy the beauty of Palenville and the Catskills, in any season. Here you'll find everything your family and friends need for a perfect getaway. Enjoy our beautifully landscaped yard and hot tub. Fall asleep to the sound of a nearby waterfall.
Spend a summer week grilling on the deck, enjoying a thunderstorm from the front porch, playing games in the private, landscaped back yard, touring quiet shaded roads on our two mountain bikes, reading in the hammock, cooling off in nearby swimming holes, and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.
In winter, enjoy the woodstove, the fully stocked kitchen and large dining room table, ping pong, pop-a-shot, and a perfect sledding hill. Minutes from the Thruway. Convenient to Hunter Mountain, Saugerties, HITS, and Woodstock.
No pets please. Must include weekend night or minimum rental charge $1500 plus fees.

Beautiful property. Great location. Size of house fit our group perfectly. Only improvement would be more detailed with cleaning. Other than that fantastic place!

From the beginning it was clear that this home is well-cared for by the host Peter and his family. Everything about the home and property is gorgeous - we stayed here over the July 4th weekend, and the enormous backyard and beautiful stream running through the property was the perfect setting for us. The host provided an incredibly thoughtful written guide to the home and surrounding areas; we particularly appreciated mapped out running routes and restaurant recommendations. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was a shed on the property with all kinds of lawn games and outdoor chairs/tables we used for our July 4th bbq. Peter was also very responsive (10min) when a couple questions came up during our stay. I get the impression from the pictures in the listing that this rental may be more popular for winter skiing, but for our summer trip it could not have been more ideal.Thanks again!

I booked this property last minute and Peter was able to accommodate us! The house is beautifully updated with everything you need for a great vacation. Comfy beds! Plenty of room. Hot tub was great. Outdoor fun with fire pit, trampoline, and games. The stream is beautiful. Will definitely be back in summer!
