Detached farmhouse rests near Llangynog in North Wales and can sleep 15 people in six bedrooms. Pengwern is a stone-built, detached farmhouse set in a delightful hillside position, next to the owner's home near Llangynog. Boasting fantastic views, this cottage has six bedrooms; a double, a family room with super king-size double and single bed and en-suite shower room, two king-size doubles (zip/link can be twins on request), a second floor king-size double with en-suite shower room, a second floor family room with king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) and two single beds, There is also a bathroom, ground-floor cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove, drying room and games room. Ample off-road parking, lockable bike storage and a patio garden with furniture.

Town: This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall.
