Villa del Arte with garden and stunning sea views
The villa, built in the style of the island is on a 4000 square meters plot, in a cypress-lined hillside, surrounded by lush gardens, overlooking the sea. It provides all of the rooms and terraces a breathtaking panoramic view, to the island of Kalamos. The quiet location, above the village of Lygia, the comfortable house and the tasteful furnishings with antiques and art objects, make it easy to feel very comfortable here soon. There is air-conditioning in all rooms, central heating and internet connection for your laptop.
The exterior and spacious garden with garden furniture and sun loungers invites you to sunbathe or just to enjoy the view.
Ground floor apartment: 65 square meters (4 people):
It consists of a large living room with dining area and open, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, Internet connection and two sofa beds, a double bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen has refrigerator, dishwasher and electric stove / oven, etc.) The large windows that open to the terrace and the garden and offer spectacular views of the sea and the islands, giving the impression like being on a ship.
For laundry there is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
Nearest beach: 300 m, more beaches 1 km Episkopos and Nikiana
Nearest tavern: 5 minutes walk and 10 minutes at the port of Lygia
Supermarket: 5 minutes by car
Evening Entertainment-nightlife: Lefkas town (6km) and Nidri (8 km)
Cleaning and linen change (on request 1x per week).
If you wish to bring a boat moorings are available at no charge in the nearby port of Lygia.
For excursions around the island, we recommend a car to rent (Avis, Budget, Rent-a-car are available on Lefkas)
The owner of this beautiful house is a German painter and gives lessons in watercolor painting and drawing for adults and children. Even in summer it gives seminars for art lovers in the pristine nature of the island. She speaks English, Greek, German and a little Italian and can provide information about the island and all that can make your holiday nice.

The best location in Lefkada. Thea (landlord) made everything effective from checking in to addressing us with a booklet of the best places to see in Lefkada. The say location, location, location is key, in this case its perfect from few minutes away from Beach life (local beach in lygia) to 10 minsutes to the city centre via car. Would recommened any time of the day.

We spent 1 week at Villa del Arte at the beginning of May and could not be much happier with our choice.
Starting with the unforgettable view over the see, going through the spacious apartment on the ground floor with all its comfortable furniture and appliances, and at least but not last the feeling of privacy and tranquility. Thea has been prepared a list with points of interest and restaurants all around the island and we manage to see everything everywhere :) We are happy we choosed Ligia and the west coast for our stay because you are close to everything on the island. Not to forget the closeness to the main town Lefkas with its charming small streets, nice cafes, shops and the marina with numerous yachts. We had great time!
