About this house rental

It is a beautiful house. You have direct connection to the water. Our house is a paradise for families with children and retired people who want to relax. It is at a huge lake which opens to the Mediterranean Sea. It is equipped with free WLAN, music system, a 40 inch TV (German channels via satellite) and an electric grill for nice barbecue evenings on the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped for 6 persons. The huge adjacent lake to the terrace is connected to the Mediterranean Sea. From here you can go sailing, surfing, water skiing, boating, etc. The Mediterranean Sea with its beaches is only 500m away as the crow flies. A swimming pool (tickets are provided by us), children's playgrounds, miniature golf, table tennis, boules court, tennis courts as well as shops and restaurants, are also in the direct vicinity of the house. How to get there:
From Barcelona airport it is about 2 ½ hours via the motorway (toll approx. 17€) to the holiday home. From Girona airport it is approx. 80 minutes via the motorway (toll approx. 10€) to the holiday home. On the terrace of the house, with a view of the large lake, you have absolute peace and relaxation. The holiday home is suitable for families with children as well as for pensioners and retirees looking for relaxation and can be enjoyed from March onwards with its mild, sunny weather. The area of Le Barcarès (Roussillon) is a dream holiday area, as you can spend a wonderful seaside holiday and especially children can let off steam on the beautiful, long sandy beaches. The nearby village of Le Barcarès is only a few minutes' drive away. The landscape and the sights in the interior of the country invite those interested in culture to make extensive excursions. In Perpignan, 20 km away, you can also go shopping to your heart's content or enjoy the delicious French cuisine in typical small restaurants after a sightseeing tour...

Wir waren im Juni in dem Ferienhaus und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist super schön! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei und man hat im ganzen Haus und auf der Terrasse Empfang. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen (gute Matratzen und sehr ruhig). Tagsüber kann man schöne Ausflüge in die Region machen oder einfach auf der Terrasse entspannen. (Top, dass wir Ausflugtipps erhalten haben) Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder !

Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war prompt und sehr freundlich. Aufgrund von Corona war lange nicht klar, ob wir fahren können. Die Familie Baum hat uns lange Zeit gegeben die Entscheidung zu treffen und wäre auch bereit gewesen die Kosten ( abzüglich der Fewo-Buchungsgebühr) zu erstatten. Die Wohnung ist ideal für eine kleine Familie und entspricht der Beschreibung. Besonders das im Winter sonnendurchflutete Elternschlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit direktem Blick aufs Wasser und auf die schneebedeckten Berge ist wirklich sehr schön. Der Balkon ist windgeschützt. Auch die Terrasse ist sehr sonnig und liegt nahe einem Steg von dem man bei Windstille direkt aufs SUP oder bei Wind (Tramontana bläst heftig) aufs Surfboard steigen kann. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist gut und die Größe ok. Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass die Wohnung nicht mit dem südfranzösischen Plastikstuhl-Charme ausgestattet ist .... Das Parken ist praktisch, da direkt vor der Tür. Ein Handicap ist sicher das nicht vorhandene WLAN, welches aber soweit ich weiß, ergänzt werden soll und die relativ enge Bebauung. Alles in Allem eine sehr schöne Wohnung, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben, die aber in der Hauptsaison vermutlich etwas dicht beim nächsten Nachbarn liegt.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Wasser, war in Juni auch ruhig gelegen. Wir waren jedoch sehr enttäuscht dass die Wohnung zwar sauber, aber die Terrasse und der Balkon wahrscheinlich schon seit Monaten nicht saubergemacht wurden. Das heisst wir mussten zuerst das Unkraut zwischen den Platten jäten und die Möbel saubermachen. Ausserdem sind die Möbel so alt dass wir uns eine Tischdecke kaufen mussten da sich der Plastik schon teilweise auflöste. Der Sonnenschirm, Liegestuhl und der Sessel waren ebenfalls unbrauchbar. Der Balkon war unter Anderem durch Vögel so verschmutzt das man sich da gar nicht aufhalten konnte. Da ich eine nicht gerade billige Endreinigung gezahlt habe, verlange ich auch dass man Terrasse und Balkon gereinigt auffindet und nicht nur die Wohnung. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer ist auch heruntergekommen, die Betten im Schlafzimmer waren gut (auch sie Matratzen) Fazit: gute Wohnung wenn man zu Viert ist, und die Terasse und Balkon nicht braucht.
