About this house rental
Detached house in a quiet location with breathtaking panoramic views over Lake Maggiore. The ground floor are 3 bedrooms with two beds. The furniture in the living- and sleeping quarters is mostly new. The living room has a fireplace, a dining area and the living area, a new open kitchen with all modern appliances, a total geared toward the living room with simultaneous views of the lake.
The house is equipped with a new oil-fired central heating and hot water supply.
In the basement with separate entrance is still a spare bed and a separate shower room with toilet. In the boiler room is a laundry dryer.
The plot is planted and can hardly be seen two cars - parking spaces are located within the premises of the house. The house can be approached directly.
Outside, the living room is starting a small sun terrace with a covered pergola and a round table with 6 chairs, and outdoor fireplace.
The house and pool are for exclusive use.
A Mediterranean vegetation, beautiful scenery and mild climate are ideal conditions for rest and relaxation all year.
The heated pool is usually from Pentecost in operation.
Transactions of daily life, restaurants, cafes, gas stations, banks, post office, doctor, pharmacies and hospitals are in close proximity in Brissago.
Popular and famous attractions are Ascona and Locarno. The Valle Maggia, Centovalli, Valle Versasca invite you to take long walks through ancient Ticino mountain villages.
The Italian border is about 10 minutes drive from the Casa Montana. The first place Cannobio with Italian flair and his mostly renovated old buildings invites you to take a stroll on the boardwalk and to stay in inexpensive restaurants on the harbor.
The Italian markets in Cannobio, Luino and intra throughout the year through a visit.
Boat trips to the botanical garden on the Brissago Islands or the Borromeo Islands show the flora. Camellias lovers can visit the plantations of the famous breeder Otto Eisenhut.

We loved our stay at Casa Montana. The view was stunning and the house is full of charm and beautifully kept. It had all the facilities you could ask for. Some reviews we noticed were that the pool wasn’t clean but this wasn’t our experience and nothing a quick sweep of the pool to collect the leaves would sort. The lights in the pool didn’t work but it wasn’t a bother to us. The garden was a little overgrown and could do with some tlc. The host was very helpful if we had any questions. We didn’t receive the code before arriving but we messaged and were responded to quickly. Great value for money. We have recommended to friends and family since we have returned and would love to come again.

The property is spectacularly situated, but is somewhat difficult to find, one has to cross the neighbours’ ground to approach. The appartment was reasonably tidy, but the furniture needs refurbishment. The lower compartiment is used for storage of garden equipment and is severely smelling (fuel damps of the grassmower) and can therefore not be used as a sleeping facility. The swimming pool was clean.

The spacious interior and breathtaking lake views were simply fantastic. We cherished every moment spent on the terrace, gazing at the mesmerizing surroundings. Nice pool with unique views and sauna were great for a rejuvenating getaway.

Sehr , sehr schöne Lage, 19 Kurven bis zum Haus,der Ausblick ist wunderschön, Pool ca. 2,5 /3m auf 4 m, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet mit Mikrowelle, Backofen, Geschirrspühler, praktisch alle Küchenutensilien, Pfannen, Töpfe, grosser Kühlschrank& Tiefkühler.
Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, Badezimmer/ WC separat.
Im unteren Bereich , von aussen erreichbar der Heizungsraum, Waschmaschine, Zimmer, WC & Dusche.. nichts besonderes.
Der Garten/ Fläche eher klein.. schade das der Garten so ungepflegt ist.. da könnte man einiges verbessern, luftiger machen.. wäre viel angenehmer wenn es bei der Trepoe & im Liegebereich weniger hätte da der Platz/ Fläche schon wenig ist..
das Haus im Ganzen ist okey, ist sicher renovationsbedürftig,auch könnte es etwas Dekorationsfreundlicher sein. Bei so einer Wochenmiete bestimmt möglich.
Knarren im Dach & bestimmt tierische Mitbewohner die man hört. Auch die täglichen Kothhaufen beim Pool, oberer Terasse wie auch beim Eingang sind unangenehm. Das Wohlbefinden des Gastes sollte wichtig & auch ernst genommen werden.
