The property was superb. We went as a family of ten ages 8-72 and there was plenty of space for us all. Each family taking up one floor. The pool was a delightful escape from the heat of Colico and with plenty of sun beds for us to use. Location wise it’s on a hill with a five minute walk down to the town which was perfect for us, especially when we had time to stop off at the bakery/cafe on route! We explored the local landscape walking to a forte and enjoying days on lake Como wind surfing and swimming. There is also a ferry that will take you across all the various towns on the lake of which we visit Varenna, Bellagio and Como. The local bus is also easily accessible and very affordable. We enjoyed paddle at the local tennis centre and there was plenty of opportunity to stay active if you wished to. A perfect spot to enjoy Lake Como and its surroundings

Amazing villa with excellent transport links and amenities.

Excellent property in a great location. Very spacious rooms, ideal for a family or group holiday. Plenty of restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the train station and an even shorter walk to the Ferry port for travelling around Lake Como. Host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to anything we asked, including recommendations for restaurants/things to do. Lots of parking at the property and would highly recommend hiring a car for the stunning drive to St Moritz which only takes around 90 minutes.

One of the best locations and an angel of a host: Claudia!

We had a truly wonderful 4-day stay at Claudia’s Villa Family in Colico. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and exceptionally well taken care of. The cleanliness of the villa was outstanding, and its location—tucked in the peaceful town of Colico—offered just the right mix of quiet relaxation and easy access to nearby attractions. The pool, though a bit cool, gave us the perfect excuse to soak up the sun and enjoy some refreshing downtime. What made our stay truly special were the personal touches from Claudia herself. She is a warm and thoughtful host, always available and generous with her time. The little gifts she left for the kids—especially the biscuits and pizza treats—were such a lovely surprise and added a personal charm to our stay. Colico is a hidden gem—calm, scenic, and a perfect base to explore the surrounding beauty of Lake Como and beyond. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already talking about coming back. Grazie mille, Claudia, for such a beautiful experience!

Amazing! The villa is great, lots of transport options, Claudia is always available, super helpful.

Claudia the host was extremely flexible. There were keys in a key safe and she met us to ensure we had everything we needed. The views from the middle and top floor of the villa are fantastic, you are surrounded by mountains and can see the lake. It is a short walk to the town, the lake ferry and the train. 9 of us in the villa, we spent time by the pool, on the lake and train to the mountains, day in Milan and Monza.

Dear Claudia, Thank you very much for your hospitality and your efforts to let us enjoy nice and relaxing holidays at the Villa Family in Colico. The accommodation is clean, functionally equipped and Claudia is very concerned about the welfare of her guests. She responds very quickly to requests and is extremely helpful. She is always happy to help with tips and recommendations. The handover and acceptance of the vacation home took place without any problems and at the scheduled time. The location is close to the center but quiet, the piazza can be reached comfortably in 5 minutes on foot. We were able to spend very nice, relaxing vacations in Villa Family in Colico and can highly recommend the property. Thank you for everything Claudia

Great family holiday

The house with three bathrooms was perfect for 3 couples. The kitchen was very well equipped, very clean. Great pool. Great BBQ. Location is near to train station, ships and restaurants. Very kind, friendly and helpfull property owners.

Kitchen and living room are slightly dark in view of natural light. The terrace roof top is leaking, when raining.

The location of the villa was perfect. It has a great view at the mountains. The shops, restaurants and the lake were nearby. The villa was beautiful, modern decorated. It was very clean en everything you needed was in the villa. The villa has a wonderful garden and a large swimming pool. The beds were comfortable. Thanks Claudia for your friendly hospitality. You were very helpful and available for us whenever we needed you. It was an unforgettable week! We surely want to come back next year.

The house is well furnished and the owners did not save in preparing all that is needed from towels, to all types of pots and even wine plastic glasses for the pool area! Everything was well explained and the place was super clean! The pool was a great asset for our family and the garden gave us many happy moments. The villa is walking distance from the center (with restaurants and bars) and also the beach is close by. On top the owner, whenever she had to come by, brought us some small presents or food! Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay!

The house and everything around our stay was perfect. Maybe a little improvement would be to give more table cloths (we had one for a stay of 9 days). Since they are white they tend to get dirty easily...

Sehr schön, idyllisch gelegen in mitten der Berge am Comer See. Traumhafter Ausblick. Modernes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet…es hat an nichts gefehlt. Claudia ist sehr nett und hat uns herzlich empfangen. Nicht nur Fragen wurden prompt beantwortet, sie stand uns die ganze Zeit mit Tips und Ausflugmöglichkeiten und Aktivitäten,sehr freundlich, zur Seite.

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie dort und es war einfach perfekt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, hat schöne Außenbereiche und genügend Platz. Die Umgebung in Colico ist auch sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und steht bei Fragen und Empfehlungen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
