Parking is very easy. It is a short walk, 5-10 minutes depending how fast you walk, into the village. The chalet is well equipped with good quality items, especially the bedding. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
I am used to watching a large TV snd the small TV was a step down with my eyesight! However the design of the chalet with the two large picture window/folding doors (which are a big plus in good weather) limits wall space and the TV placing/size possibilities. In fact I only watched the TV for the very few programmes I follow, so this is a minor issue. No one goes away to watch TV.

Fantastic quiet and picturesque location a short walk from the village centre of Hurstpierpoint. The lodge was much bigger than expected, comfortable and really well maintained. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Shaun met us with a friendly welcome. The lodge was comfortable, clean, bright & well equipped. Lovely spacious living area, good shower & really comfortable bed.
We were there in blistering hot weather & would have been more comfortable if a fan was a available. The fridge was a little small for our needs as we catered at the lodge and needed to chill drinks with the hot weather.

Excellent location. Short walk into the village.
Very clean.
Pleasant to sit outside once it got cooler in the evening.
Stayed during a heat wave, which was challenging, as insufficient blinds/curtains to keep out bright sunlight. We improvised and managed to keep the place reasonably cool, but using a collection of clothes, carrier bags, car screens, etc, etc. Fortunately we had a good supply of bull-dog clips with us!
There was no shower mat, so taking a shower was potentially lethal. Again, we improvised.
