This was one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. The location was beautiful with a wonderful view from the balcony and plenty restaurants within walking distance. The village is very quiet, but Gößweinstein is a short drive away with grocery stores and other shopping.The apartment was larger than we expected from the photos. Along the front of the building are two large bedrooms and a sitting room. These three rooms open onto a pleasant balcony on the front and into a wide hallway in the rear. Along the back of the house are the WC, bathroom with bath/shower and laundry, and the kitchen. The kitchen is small but is well equipped. The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.The hosts were absolutely marvelous. They dropped of fresh baked bread and pastries and were extremely helpful. Checking in was very easy and the hosts were always available for anything we needed.As others have noted the apartment is on the third floor (or second floor if you are European) so there are two flights of internal steps to walk up. The stairs are wide and very easy to navigate. There is very convenient parking just outside the front door.The location was superb with so many things to do nearby, including hiking, rock climbing, and canoeing. This was one of our favorite rentals ever and we will definitely be back.
