About this apartment rental

Apartment on the 1st floor of a building (without elevator) in the center of Rapallo, 400 m from the sea. Large living room, kitchen with window to the living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with small bathtub for children). Close to the train station (10 m) and all stores, ideal location for those who want to enjoy the lively city life and explore the picturesque villages of the Gulf of Tigullio without a car: Santa Margherita Ligure (4 km), Portofino (9 km), Recco (11 km), Genoa with its imposing monuments and aquarium (50 km). From Santa Margherita ferries leave for Camogli, San Fruttuoso (famous for diving) and Cinque Terre.

Schöne, geräumige Ferienwohnung im "Herzen" Rapallos
Über die Wohnung gibt es überhaupt nichts Negatives zu sagen. Selbst der Umstand, dass man ständig die Durchsagen der vorbeifahrenden Züge hört (in den Bädern und im Kinderzimmer besonders laut), hat uns nicht gestört, und wir rechnen es als besonderes "Flair" dieser zentral gelegenen Wohnung. Das Herz ist in diesem Fall also der Bahnhof mit seinem typischen "Rhythmus". Die Vorteile der zentralen Lage überwiegen (5 Minuten zur Flaniermeile am Strand, 2 Minuten zum ersten Supermarkt, 1 Minute zum Bahnhof ect.). Den Punkt Abzug gibt es nur wegen der Angabe "mit Parkplatz". Das ist gerade für uns Deutsche eine falsche Angabe. Sie müssen den Parkplatz nämlich in der ganzen Ortschaft suchen! Wir hatten das Glück, hinter dem Bahnhof, ein paar 100 Meter weit von unserer Wohnung weg, immer wieder in der sog. "weißen Zone" einen gefunden zu haben. Deshalb haben wir das Auto in den zwei Wochen nur dreimal bewegt. Und einmal im Monat wird diese weiße Zone gesäubert, so dass Sie dann dort nicht mehr stehen können (für einige Stunden), das heißt aufmerksam die Schilder lesen, sonst kann es passieren, dass das Auto wegen Behinderung der Säuberungsfahrzeuge abgeschleppt wird. Ein weiteres Negativum sind die vielen Motorroller, auf die man als Autofahrer, aber auch als Fußgänger sehr achten muss, weil die Eigentümer manchmal sehr eigensinnig und rücksichtslos fahren (ganz abgesehen von dem Lärm und Gestank, den sie verbreiten). Die Einheimischen haben sich wohl daran gewöhnt. Es gibt halt deshalb sehr viele, weil das die Mobilität in einer solchen Ortschaft erhöht - gerade bei der Parkplatznot. Ich denke Italien ist in dieser Beziehung "motorisierter" als Deutschland, aber das muss man tollerieren, ansonsten kann man nach Finnland oder Norwegen fahren; da ist es ruhiger! Alles in Allem hat uns der Aufenthalt in Rapallo dennoch sehr gefallen. Gerne wieder - trotz der prekären Parkplatzsituation!
