About this apartment rental
Right behind the dike, in close proximity to the sea, our apartment is located in the 'Residenz Naturdüne', very quietly in a cul-de-sac in the renowned district of Duhnen.
Duhnen is known for its beautiful sandy beach and the endless mudflats. It is part of the world cultural heritage.
On the corresponding spa promenade you can of course find everything your heart desires.

We completely renovated and re-furnished the approx. 50 sqm apartment in early 2013.
It is on the first floor and has a covered balcony.
The apartment consists of a living-dining room and a cozy bunk with beach wallpaper. Holidays at the sea are fun from the start.
There is a kitchenette with two ceramic hobs, a large refrigerator with a 3-star fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster.
The central point of the apartment is the large dining table with four chairs.
To sleep, the apartment offers a 1.40 m double bed as said bunk and a 1.80 m sofa bed in the living room - both equipped with TV.
The apartment also has free WiFi, an ipod docking station with radio and CD player, blue-ray disc / DVD player and a hair dryer and radio in the bathroom.
In the basement is our small in-house wellness area with pool and sauna, which we provide to our guests free of charge.

In front of the house 'Residenz Naturdüne' there is a well-developed and traffic-calmed path along the coast, via which the beach and the tourist center of Duhnen can be reached in no time. The districts of Sahlenburg, Döse and the city center of Cuxhaven can also be reached via this route. The modern Ahoy wave pool a few hundred meters away offers a sauna, fitness and wellness for the whole family.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Cuxhaven. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
Vor allem die Schlafnische war kuschelig und hat die Wohnung zu einem „Einraumwunder“ gemacht. Auch die Nähe zum Strand ist super.
Die einzigen Punkte, die man bemängeln könnte, sind der fehlende Seeblick in der EG-Wohnung wegen der Deichhöhe und die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas großzügiger sein, so dass man nicht jeden Tag spülen muss, aber das sind Punkte, die die 5 Sterne nicht gefährden.

Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung vom Bad bis Fernseher über Küche und Balkon. Alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden.
Der Pool unten im Haus ist sehr schön für Erwachsene und auch für Kinder, wenn das Wetter an der See nicht so mitspielt.
Viele kleine Extras sind auch sehr hilfreich über erste Getränke und Haushaltsartikel.
Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub, würden es wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.
Wenn man was zu meckern hätte dann das die Schiebetüren leider sehr schwer gängig sind und dementsprechend etwas laut sind für die andern Beteiligten im Raum.
Wenn man mit Kind reist, daher etwas schlaf störend.

Der Check-In hat ohne Probleme funktioniert und die Wohnung war auch so wie im Inserat vorzufinden.
Bei Ankunft war der Klodecke locker, nach Mitteilung von unserer Seite aus, wurde dies aber während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht von jemanden repariert. Leider funktionierte auch die eine Stehlampe im Schlafzimmer nicht und der Fernseher im Wohnbereich ging des öfteren einfach aus. Woran das lag konnten wir leider bisher nicht feststellen.
