This apartment was the highlight of our trip. Attention to detail and the professionalism the host showed is out of this world. We enjoyed our stay here. The host is always there when you need him and he is always giving tips on how to have the best time in Switzerland.The view of the lake is unlike other. The apartment is very spacious and the facilities are like a 5 star hotel. I would definitely come back again.

We have stayed over dozen places around Europe and this place is one is on our top list for sure. Very clean, gorgeous view. Close enough to Lucerne but far enough to get very quiet and relaxing environment. There is a outside wood grill and eating area which we used every night!We would love to come back here again! Our stay was wonderful from the time of booking till checkout. The view was spectacular and it was not a far drive into the city. The residence was very clean and welcoming. It is the best family friendly option with children that we have stayed at in Europe.

Location could not have been better for the price and for those who want to be away from the more crowded, touristy areas. Our family of 5 stayed here as our home base for hiking and exploring in the Lucerne/Emmetten area. There are multiple hikes within walking distance as well as cable cars up to Niederbauen where the views are outstanding and there are numerous outstanding hikes. The home itself was perfect with a worldclass view and a relatively large backyard where the kids could play and all could have meals, watch the sun rise or set, have a drink. Absolutely perfect!

The place and views are absolutely stunning! The view of the lake is simply a dream. The hosts were very responsive and gave us detailed instructions personally regarding the apartment. The apartment had everything you need and we felt at home during our 6 days stay at the Switzerland. It is much bigger than the pictures and was spot clean!if Have no second thoughts about booking this place! Thank you for hosting!

We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. The hosts were very kind, the location was great and central to many of the activities we wanted to do, and the view was lovely. We stayed in a few different locations around Switzerland on our trip, and this was our favorite by far. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of space for preparing meals. The rest of the house itself was comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended if you need a place to stay near Lucerne!

A stunning property, gorgeous views and a very well appointed apartment. We didn't want for anything! Peter and Ursula were extremely welcoming and helpful answering our questions about excursions and what is best to do in the area. We spent one day at Mt. Pilatus, another day taking the cable car in Emmetten, hiking and then enjoying the beach in Beckenreid. The apartment was close to everything we wanted to visit and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Having the Volg grocery store nearby was a bonus! Our favourite thing to do was to enjoy the view at the apartment, have a BBQ and play badminton. Very relaxing after a busy day touring the area! We would love to return one day!

Met host on arrival, great guy who showed us around. Spectacular view. He even had a pass for us that saved us 25% off our Pilatus cable car tickets (a must-do when in the area). Great amenities, comfortable beds and convenient shopping just up the hill.

The property was excellent and we had a wonderful time. There were not a lot of tourists and the access to nearby attractions was great. We even did a paragliding activity from the nearby mountain. What a fantastic experience. Marlene and her family were incredibly gracious from the moment we arrived. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable with a spectacular view of the lake. Lucerne city center is about 20 minutes away and very accessible. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Marlene's communication was excellent throughout the whole process; booking, pre-stay and during our stay. Of course, part of the final process was taken over by her parents since she had just delivered her second child the prior week to our stay, but they were lovely too. My only "complaint" is that the online photos don't do the property justice. It is WAY more beautiful than it shows. And the apartment was beautifully appointed with every detail you would ever need. Everything was thoughtfully provided with quality in mind. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who has a discerning eye. Thank you Marlene and family.

This apartment was incredibly clean, with loads of thoughtful touches (stools for children, loads of board games, beach supplies, etc.). Peter and Ursula are very friendly and full of knowledge about the local area. There is so much to do. We are looking forward to a return trip for winter activities.

My 3 friends and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is 21st century, with everything one could ask for, the view is as spectacular -- as it is in the pictures on the website, and the host was just great! He is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Although we did not meet Marlene, she was quite helpful and responsive to our questions before our trip. Emmetten is about 20 min drive to Lucerne and an hour from Zurich, making this place a perfect location if you have a car. It was easy for us to get in and out for sight-seeing. We have traveled extensively and stayed in rentals and hotels and this place is definitely 5 Star! We look forward to staying here again.

The property is well situated with a beautiful garden having fantastic view of the lake below - a view that enchanted us as it keeps on changing depending on weather conditions and the time of the day. We made ample use of the BBQ in the garden to enjoy this view to the full. The apartment itself is easy to reach from the motorway, very clean and well equipped. The children loved playing all the games they found in the apartment and in the garden. The owners of the apartment were very helpful and kind. We would truly recommend this apartment to others.

Our group of 8 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spotless, modern apartment. The views of Lake Lucerne were fabulous and our host was very friendly and helpful. I would only mention that it is not really a 3-bedroom apartment, as the 3rd bedroom is actually the living room. But it was a delightful, calm place to stay. Five stars!!

Apartment looks brand new and has plenty of space for a family. Our kids loved the yard area to play in. The town has nice restaurants and it is very close for swimming and hiking. The view from the yard overlooking the lake was incredible.
