About this house rental
The approximately 90 m² romantic half-timbered house from the 19th century is idyllically situated at the edge of the forest in Haarstorf, a small heathland village between Lüneburg and Uelzen.
Handmade terracotta tiles, old wooden floorboards and lovingly selected pieces of furniture create a very special atmosphere in the rooms of the bakery.
The bakery was recently completely renovated and the old oven was removed. In this way, space could be created for a completely new room. The heart of the bakery, the fireplace room. Cozy seating areas and warm colors invite you to relax. Large windows provide plenty of daylight, with a direct view of the countryside. The glass fireplace connects the two living rooms and is accessible from both sides. Here you can spend atmospheric evening hours.
The originality of the former bakery was deliberately retained in order to preserve the rural, nostalgic atmosphere.
The terrace in front of the kitchen invites you to have breakfast outdoors in the morning, and in the evening there is a covered patio with a barbecue grill.
The entire property is fenced, so dogs can roam freely.
The Backhaus is a wonderful place to switch off and relax. A dream for all individualists and families who are enthusiastic about the romance of silence and are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Ein tolles Objekt abseits touristischer Hochburgen. Hier kann man die Tage einfach genießen. Wer sanften Tourismus und ungewöhnliches Ambiente schätzt ist hier genau richtig.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur und die liebevolle, gemütliche Einrichtung dieses ehemaligen Backhauses haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Um das Haus herum gibt es mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten zur Auswahl. Egal ob auf einer gemütlichen Bank unter dem Vordach, am Gartentisch oder in den Liegestühlen, hier findet jeder seinen Lieblingsplatz zum Entspannen. Das Bad mit der extra großen Dusche ist ebenfalls erwähnenswert. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland.
Overall a pleasent stay.
