About this house rental

The house is located on the island of Paros, on hill slope directed to the Southeast. A paved road leads from the main road to the villa. The sun shines directly on the house from sunrise to early evening. All rooms and the spacious terrace enjoy panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. You can see up to seven Aegean islands on the horizon. The house combines the traditional architectural style of the Cyclades with modern equipment and aesthetic architectural details: walls 50 cm thick, ceiling height over 3m, walnut tree ceilings from Mount Athos... The private swimming pool (about 5x7m) is for the exclusive use for the guests of this house. A garden with olive trees and other native plants invite the guests to relax. The location around the house is absolutely quiet - nothing to hear, apart from nature. The house has free 4G internet access and free Wi-Fi.
Just 2 km away lies Golden Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You can surf, sail, swim or simply enjoy the sun on the crystal-clear water and the fine sandy beach.

Travel time: Paros is worth a visit almost all year round: in April and May, the landscape blooms in all its glory and you can best enjoy it when hiking or cycling. June and September are the best months for a summer holiday, and July and August are the most busy months. In October, sometimes even into November, you can enjoy pleasant air and water temperatures. Finally, the island's central location allows short trips to the many islands nearby. From the port of Parikia you can take daily trips to Antiparos, Mykonos, Delos, Koufonissia and Santorini. Also, sailing trips to remote beaches and island tours including food on board with freshly caught fish are an experience worth making.

Arrival: You can travel to Paros either by flying to Athens and then going per taxi to the ports of Peiraeus or Rafina to take the boat to Paros. Or you can fly from Athens airport directly to Paros (the more expensive, much more convenient alternative). There is also the possibility to fly directly to Mykonos or Santorin and then take the boat to Paros.

We have truly enjoyed the two weeks we have spent in this great house with beautiful views of Dryos, Golden Beach, Naxos and the blue ocean. The house is located on a hill and it was easily accessible. We love to walk and although there is a little steep "driveway" for the house itself, we enjoyed early walks down to the village to grap our freddo cappucino at Yiasou (little coffee shop) or stop by the small but well stocked Anoussakis market. The house is really comfortable and had plenty of room for us (4 adults). Although the kitchen might look small, it had everything we needed to cook any type of meals... but I have to admit that there is Anna's Restaurant down the road that had unbelievable ready-to-eat home cooked meals and we would very often stop by, pick up fresh moussaka or other delicacies and ate on the large terrace, overlooking the pool, ocean and just relaxing, enjoying the calm, beautiful Cycladic life. Apostolos, the owner, was easy going and super responsive and Manolis, who was our local contact for anything related to the house (and more!) was super helpful, always available and just a really nice guy! I can only recommend this house and hope you have as much fun and relaxing vacation as we did.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 with two teenagers. Plenty of space to spread out and a quiet and peaceful place to rejuvenate. It had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. There were beach toys and snorkel equipment and plenty of beach towels. The washer was great to refresh our clothes after traveling and we absolutely LIVED on the adorable patio with its lounging furniture and crystal clear pool. We had one issue with WiFi and it was fixed so quickly with just one message. Truly the best service and support. The town of Dryos was a very short drive away where we ate at some amazing restaurants- Anna’s and Taverna Julia. You can get anywhere on the island in 30 min or less making this the perfect location. Initially we thought maybe we wanted the bigger towns but once we got to the house we knew we had made a superb choice. The laid back lifestyle and kind residents this side of the island made the trip one of the most relaxing and enjoyable we have had. Kudos for providing such a wonderful accommodation! We can’t wait to return and experience it again. Thank you!

I cannot begin to say what a wonderful time we had and this property was a huge part of what made our time so special. I am staying on the island for over a month and have had the opportunity to be right on the beach in a larger house and hands down this is the spot I will return to. The view is stunning and seemingly changes by the hour. You feel a world away and yet the small town is accessible by car in minutes and on foot in 15. You are on a beach in minutes but have the luxury of being up high to see much of the island including the stunning sunrise. The house, albeit small is positioned so you have a view from every room. We grilled seabass, and large prawns, made pasta, huge salads and roasted tiny potatoes so the kitchen is set up perfectly for wonderful meals. We ate every meal outside. The owner is wonderful and I was very concerned about wifi as we were working remotely in Greece and he went above and beyond to ensure our work was seamless. The housekeeping and pool maintenance was fantastic. I spend a good part of the year traveling and have stayed in uber expensive villas in Bali, Spain, France Brazil etc and thoug this house is smaller than we typically take it has been one of the best. We knew it the minute we walked in. The house, it's location and the owner are the reasons why. Drios is quiet but so well connected to the more "tony areas" on the island that it gives you the best of both worlds. We swam at midnight and the only noise we heard were the crickets. I would highly recommend this property. Truly memorable.

Apostolos and Barbara's property was exactly what we had in mind when we booked it; spacious, characterful and yet not fussy, somewhere to unwind and enjoy being with family and friends while looking at an unbeatable view. The outdoor space is fantastic and is shaded from noon onwards, making it easier to just hang around and enjoy the pool (whilst also leaving plenty of sun and sun loungers for the sun worshippers). The pool is a very good size and enough to have a gentle swim in. Easy space, grown up and child friendly too. The team looking after the property were very helpful and responsive.

The property was great for our requirements and it matched the description on the website. The owner, Apergis Apostolos, was helpful and kindly recommended things to do and see during our stay. The villa was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is very small so sometimes catering for 8 could be challenging but we had great weather so we were able to do lots of preparation and eating outdoors. Paros is beautiful and we would love to return. Thank you.

We were 3 adults staying in this gorgeous villa and found it to be perfect for our stay on the gorgeous Paros. The villa is very well equipped (esp. having a washing machine) and the 3 x bed, 3 x bathrooms suited our needs perfectly. It has a gorgeous view down to the water, is very private and while tucked in the hill is only a few minutes from Drios' restaurants, supermarkets, and small jobs. Would definitely stay here again.

We populated the villa with 6 adults and we found the accomodation very comfortable. The accuracy of the instructions given by the owner and the suggestion of the local housekeeper were extremely usefull to avoid the little problems that often arise when you rent a house for vacation. The beautifull view while you refresh in the pool and the espresso coffee in the morning are some of the memories we brought at home. Not to forget the house cat Fellini...

Villa Eleniki is a great place! We (family of four) visited Paros in early June. The house is very well kept and has an elegant architecture with many local elements. The view to the sea and the islands nearby is breathtaking - impossible to imagine if you haven't been there. June is a beautiful time to be on Paros. We went swimming in beautiful waters, ate fish in the tavernas next to the sea, visited Naousa, Lefkes and Paroikia, kept silent watching the stars and had fun in the swimming-pool of the Villa.You must visit this place!

Stayed here for 4 nights as 8 people( 4 adults, 4 kids age 8-14) It was perfect, the view is amazing from the hill. As others have said had everything we needed for our trip. You do need car but all is very close, we explored many beaches, Naoussa etc and a few nights we grilled at the villa. There are fruit trees, olive trees, figs etc nearby and we sat up every night til midnight on the loungers watching the incredible stars. This island was awesome too for our families, laid back, easy going, great swimming beaches and store to get essentials, the people on the island were the nicest and friendliest we met. Many people we met gave us a taste of food, offered us a drink or dessert etc. One women at her coffee shop gave my husband some of her homemade lunch when we commented on the great smell!. The rental was easy and all the villa was VERY clean as was the pool. Our kids thought this was the best part of our trip , as did we. We did Paros, Athens and Santorini on this trip. Highly recommend this villa.

Arriving at Paros airport at 0700 is quite daunting for most people especially if you have flown overnight from London. We had been to Paros before so our rental car (Cyclades Rent a Car) was waiting for us at the airport. We ambled around the island until we could gain access to Villa Eleniki early at around 13.30. It was well worth the wait; located on a hill overlooking the village of Drios and the beaches at Chryssi Atki (Golden Beach) the villa is the centre one of three interlinked villas (although you do feel very private). The views are stunning and we immediately felt at home in the clean and comfortable environment. The architecture is wonderful and little touches like rope swirls to cover metal brackets and brass “ships style” light fittings all add to the wonderful ambience. The villa has plenty of room for four adults and four children, perhaps 6 adults; as a couple we found the space and privacy ideal for us. The kitchen is well equipped and having the washing machine was a great asset enabling us to travel light. We found an iron, ironing board, and almost everything we wanted either in the house or store at the rear. There is an adequate supply of clean linen and towels. The remote controlled ceiling fans are great, keeping the bedrooms cool during the night. Bathrooms are small but very modern and just what you need on holiday – great showers! When we booked we were sent a detailed set of “house instructions” which enabled us to make the most of the facilities. The pool was well maintained and even though the skimmers can be noisy the house instructions advised us to use them when we were out – great attention to detail. The hillside position does mean you need a car, walking down would be OK, but up could be quite a task. In Drios we found a fantastic supermarket that really was well stocked and further away we found all we needed for a perfect stay. Paros can be very stylish in the evening especially in Naoussa which is only a drive away – so cool smart casual clothes are great. Finally Manolis the local agent could not be more helpful, he is on hand if you need him 24hrs.... well that’s what he said! We did not need him as everything was perfect! Yep – loved the place and we will be going back next year!

Making our first trip abroad with our year old baby, we opted for the Villa Eleniki and were not disappointed. From the initial enquiry, the owner answered all our questions and provided additional information and photos to ensure that we were making the correct choice. However beautiful the villa appears on this website, we were still surprised at the villa's quality of finish, stunning hillside location and views across the Aegean to Naxos. This more than justified the decision to venture south of the main resorts of Parikia and Naoussa. I would say that a car is essential for this property, and the owner recommended a rental firm who met us at the port on our arrival and departure. The island is easily accessible by car, with nowhere more than 30 minutes away from Drios. We explored more of Paros and Antiparos on this holiday than all of our previous trips combined. We even circled the island in less than an hour to get the baby to sleep! Facilities within the village of Drios were more than adequate, with a decent selection of tavernas and supermarkets. The Golden Beach is less than 5 minutes from the villa by car, with other less well known beaches not too much further. One evening we made the 25 minute walk to and from the village, but would guess that the steep hill would make this less pleasant in the height of summer. On arrival we were met by the owner’s local contact Manolis, who was available whenever needed throughout the stay. The villa, terrace and pool were spotlessly clean, and had all the facilities needed to make us feel instantly at home. A TV might have been useful, when the temperature dropped enough in the evening (it was May) to force us indoors – but in hindsight meant we wasted little time during our stay. We had more than enough space for our party of 3 adults, 1 child and a baby - and didn't need to use the additional guest room which had a separate bathroom and bunk bed. The bedrooms have just been fitted with ceiling fans, which were welcomed, but I’m sure will be more useful in the hotter months. We will certainly return, and recommend the property to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of the Cyclades.

Very attractive villa interior. Beautifully clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and plenty of towels and linen. Big fridge and efficient washing machine. No kettle or toaster. There is lighting for the little pool and exterior at night and the view is beautiful. At the most 10 minute walk down the hill to Dryos, then right towards the shops and left towards harbour beach. Big downside for us was lack of air conditioning or indeed any trees on the property to give shade. The sun beats down on the property all day, the constant heat was difficult to bear and even buying a fan didn't bring much relief. The working surfaces in the kitchen are limited to the kitchen table and an iron would have been nice. In Dryos we ate breakfast at the Anezina village and twice at Manolis fish restaurant and twice at the Boudari. All very good food. In fact the only bad meal we had in Paros was at the Anchor in Dryos but I think we were unlucky as it is well reviewed elsewhere. We took an excursion on Captain Ben's boat which was extremely well hosted by the Captain and his small crew.

Very nice little villa, with beautiful view and easy access to beach and commodities. Pool is small, but handy if you do not want to drive down to the beach. Amazing view at night with the moon rising right in front of the terrace. Friendly and helpful owner. Only downside: no air-conditionning, which can be a real problem for sleeping (as the house faces East, and the shutters must be closed at night). It can be extremely hot in the morning on the main terrace, and no shadow can be found. Other than that, great stay in Paros.

Villa Eleniki is the place to be for people seeking the ultimate relaxation. The property is located at Dryos with an astonishing view, overlooking Chrissi Akti beach which is famous for its golden sand and crystal clear blue water. Villa Eleniki combines the traditional Cyclades architecture with modern elements of luxury. The description on the site is more than accurate as the property has all the facilities a family would need. Furthermore other facilities such as grocery stores and typical greek taverns are just 3 minutes away. The place is also very quiet But what we mostly loved was swimming in the pool and looking the moon rising and the stars. If you see that you do not need anything else. We strongly recommend Villa Eleniki to people looking for relaxation, nice beach and nice greek food. We want to go back again!!!!

I heartily recommend this villa to stay in and I would love to go back to visit again. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in a modern, well-kept villa with a most magnificent view. You can open the doors on to a beautiful panoramic view of the Aegean sea. All mod-cons are available in the villa and there is a pool if you need a dip. The person renting the villa was extremely helpful and on-hand for any queries we might have. We had excellent support from the local taverna owner who was the local contact and he said he was available 24 hours, if we needed anything. There are adjacent villas nearby, but you do get a feeling of privacy. A car is essential to explore the island, but it only takes a few minutes to be in Dryos and to have access to local amenities and a big plus for us was the proximity to the fabulous Golden Beach. You can drive very close to the beach, park and enjoy the clear sea. The locals tend to visit the beach and the sea in the early evening as it's not too hot! You won't be disappointed by the lovely villa, it's surroundings and the villa owners recommendations for car hire and where to go were very helpful. Thanks again.

Super séjour ! Vue de dingue sur la mer. Terrasse super agréable. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. La maison est bien équipée. La chambre principale est top avec vue sur la mer et beaucoup de rangements. La chambre de la guest house est plus petite mais on vit dehors toute la journée donc ce n'est pas bien grave. Piscine très chouette aussi, bien propre. Je recommande chaleureusement cette location en famille ou entre amis.

Wir haben in der zweiten Mai-Hälfte für 2 Wochen unseren Urlaub hier auf der Insel Paros verbracht. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub! Das Feriendomizil liegt etwas oberhalb, so dass man eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Ägäis und die umliegenden Inseln hat. Die ruhige Lage, die gute Aussicht, die grosse Terrasse mit Pool, alles hat uns sehr zugesagt und wir haben uns wunderbar erholt. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell an den schönsten Stränden, aber auch die Ortschaft lässt sich gut zu Fuß erreichen. Ein Ort zum Erholen und zum Geniessen!

Très belle vue (sur Naxos notamment) depuis cette villa située sur les hauteurs de Drios à l'est de Paros. De plus elle dispose d'une piscine. Elles est très bien équipée (terrasse, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, cafetière Nespresso, internet en wifi). Toutes les chambres comportent une salle d'eau avec WC (un peu exigüe). Les douches sont plutôt étroites. En dehors de la chambre principale les rangements sont peu nombreux. Nous avons bien apprécié l'annexe indépendante comportant une chambre avec grand lit et 2 lits superposés dans une pièce à part. Nous étions deux couples. Elle est conforme au descriptif et les propriétaires ainsi que la personne qui nous accueillis sur place ont répondu à toutes nos questions. Vous trouverez dans le village une épicerie avec rayon boucherie et boulangerie, un bar, un restaurant (Anna) où vous pourrez acheter des plats (spécialités grecques) à emporter. Une boulangerie se situe à quelques km. Nous vous recommandons le restaurant Markakis où vous serez très bien accueillis avec une cuisine à base de poissons. Un moyen de locomotion est souhaitable pour se déplacer. Bien que les grecs parlent anglais et certains français, ils apprécient que vous leur disiez bonjour, au-revoir, svp et merci en grec. Allez visiter le musée Skorpios situé à côté de l'aéroport à Aliki. Le matin vous pourriez rencontrer l'artiste très doué de ses mains, discuter et boire un verre avec lui. Nous avons aimé les plages de Kolimbithres (au nord vers Naoussa) et Tripiti (au sud).

Nous avons loué la maison une semaine en juillet. Nous avions en nous réveillant chaque matin, une magnifique vue face à la mer Egée. Par ailleurs, la maison était très agréable avec sa jolie terrasse, fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Ce fut une semaine très reposante. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour en Grèce. A refaire…….
