Very enjoyable, loved the closeness to the lake and the fun we had at the fire pit roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. The only issue is the final stretch of the road to get to the cottage. It’s narrow and rock covered. We brought 3 cars and my daughter has a small car that had alittle trouble getting up the driveway on one side. We made sure she parked without being on an incline.

The road was a little sketchy at first but just go slow and it is perfectly fine. Getting out, get speed on the incline and you will be fine. I am used to flat roads though. There are two houses you can see but you feel secluded from them. House was clean. Lots of choices of board games. We did buy a Sorry game because the other one was only half a board. So I hope the next family enjoys the new Sorry board :). The king size bed is firm but comfortable. The tub in the master bath was amazing. The walk to the lake is not far at all! My husband had better luck fishing the first day we were there but the lake rose a lot over the time frame we were there. We definitely enjoyed this place and will book again if we are back in Branson!

Our stay at Tall Tree Cottage was the perfect little break from today's world. Exactly what we needed. Excellent communication with the owner when we encountered a tiny bump in the road. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Amazing trip!
