Auch wenn die Bilder im Internet schon sehr viel versprechen können sie nicht annähernd ausdrücken was den Gast erwartet: Schon beim Eintreten empfängt uns die wohlige Wärme des frisch angeheizten Holzofens. Obwohl wir „nur“ zu Dritt sind und auch schon fortgeschritten in der Zeit, ist nicht nur die wunderschöne Wohnküche sondern auch die Stube angeheizt - hier hießen uns die Gastgeber sogar noch mit Zitronen-Nelken Duft willkommen. Ein kleiner Emailletopf auf dem Sitzkachelofen mit frischen Zitronenscheiben in denen Nelken stecken sorgt dafür. Unser Hunger läßt uns vorerst einmal in der Kuchl verweilen. Eine gute Brotzeit wartet hier auf uns - alles bereits liebevoll für uns angerichtet. So dauert es nicht lange bis wir auf der Eckbank sitzen und es uns schmecken lassen. Der Holzofen begleitet knisternd unsere Gespräche und wir vergessen die Zeit und „verhocken“ uns regelrecht. Am nächsten Morgen stehen wir - auch wenn die Nacht kurz war - wunderbar erholt und ausgeruht auf. Eine super Matraze, eine kuschelige Bettdecke haben sicher auch ihren Teil beigetragen. Der Ofen ist mit der Glut von gestern schnell wieder angeheizt und so haben wir uns schnell mit den guten Zutaten und dem frisch gebackenen Zopf ein herliches Frühstück gezaubert. Abgesehen davon, dass es uns in diesem Kleinod an nichts mangelt sind es die fast unendlich vielen Kleinigkeiten, die uns immer wieder zeigen wie viel Liebe und Wärme in dieser Gastfreundschaft liegt: kleine Schildchen die erklären und ermuntern, warme Socken, Süßigkeiten hier und dort...egal ob in der Stube, im Bad, in der Küche oder in der Schlafkammer - immer wieder warten liebevolle und sinnvolle (!) Überraschungen auf uns. So vergehen die Tage schnell und bei der Rückfahrt stellen wir fest, dass wir uns fühlen als wären wir eine gute Woche weggewesen: wir waren in eine andere Welt getaucht, konnten komplett abschalten und auftanken - wunderbar - ein Traum. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind im Januar 2010 in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und fühlten uns sofort in dem liebevollen Ambiente sehr wohl . Natürlich war alles sehr alt, aber außerordentlich liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir können die Bewertung der Urlauber, die im Dezember 2009 dort ihren Urlaub verbrachten, nur bestätigen. In unserer Urlaubswoche war es sehr kalt ( nachts - 20 ° ), trotzdem haben wir nicht gefroren. In den Schlafzimmern waren die guten, alten mitgebrachten Wärmflaschen hilfreich. Wir würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Eine einzige Einschränkung sehen wir allerdings: Für sehr große Männer ( oder Frauen? ) ab 1.90 cm Körpergröße ist das Leben im Haus etwas beschwerlich, weil zahlreiche niedrige Deckenbalken immer im Kollisionskurs standen... Es gab zahlreiche Beulen, die tapfer ertragen wurden. Aber insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft.

Wir haben über Silvester eine Woche mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem Bauernhaus verbracht. Natürlich waren wir vorher besorgt, im Winter eine Unterkunft zu buchen, die man mit Holz beheizen muß, wovon auch die Warmwasserversorgung abhängt. Das war aber überhaupt kein Problem, da im Flur und im Wohnzimmer zwei Heizkörper stehen, die das Haus die ganze Zeit erwärmen und beide Öfen in der Küche und im Kachelofenzimmer unglaublich schnell warem werden, so daß auch das Duschen von 7 Leuten hintereinander überhaupt kein Problem war!!! Die Schlafräume oben waren etwas kühler, was zum Schlafen ausgezeichnet ist, die Bettdecken waren dagegen unglaublich warm. Ein Nachteil ist natürlich das kleine Badezimmer mit nur einer Toilette, aber damit kann man sich wirklich arrangieren. Die Kinder fanden die Nachtöpfe unter ihren Betten natürlich großartig! Wir mußten von dem Angebot der Vermieter, ihre Dusche und Toilette zu benutzen, wirklich keinen Gebrauch machen. Die weitere Ausstattung war 5-Sterne! Ich habe schon einige Ferienunterkünfte gesehen, aber noch keine Unterkunft war bzgl. Küche und Bad so gut ausgestattet. Man muß wirklich nichts mitnehmen. Außerdem war das Haus innen und außen liebevoll weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das Alter des Hauses tat sein übriges. Auch fanden wir selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Kekse vor und Schüsseln mit Obst und Nüssen. Sogar eine Flasche Sekt stand im Kühlschrank, und am nächsten Morgen gab's gleich frische Eier. Die Krapfen kamen dann zu Silvester. Hatte man mal eine Frage über die Umgebung etc., bekam man gleich einen Internetausdruck mit allen Informationen. Es war unglaublich, solche Gastfreundschaft und unaufdringliche Sorge haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Fazit: Diese Unterkunft in Obergrieß kann man empfehlen. Der Weg nach Lenggries und zu den Skischulen ist kurz, auch nach Bad Tölz, da das Haus nahe der Bundesstraße liegt (ohne Lärmbelästigung!), Wanderwege beginnen auch in der Nähe. Ich weiß nicht, was man mehr will, sonst muß man einfach kein Bauernhaus mieten!
