Spend your holiday in a beautiful Grade II listed House in Sweden. It is a tastefully furnished 2-storey house, ideal for 1-2 families or 8 people. It is part of a Gutsanlage of 1760, but was renovated modern.
Located in the historic cellar of the house is a beautiful sauna, with relaxation area and a fireplace.
Near the house is a fireplace, wood is also sufficiently available - both finished chopped, as well as columns for yourself - makes a lot of fun!
We have a separate bath and rudder body including fishing platform on a river that leads to our lake.
For birders / ornithologists, the lake is interesting. The lake is a nature reserve with rare birds which can be observed from a single platform.
Anglers can use one of our rowing boats for a tour of the river and on the lake. Other lakes are located in the area of undisturbed bay to a tourist beach with a volleyball net, mini-golf, kayak rentals and swimming pool (Mariestad Lake Vänern).
Directly at the house there are extensive wooded areas for walking and invite the mushrooming.
One and two sea kayaks can be rented for a fee, to explore the surrounding lakes.
In consultation with us sometimes our rustic Unimog or our Jeep can be used for a ride through the grounds.
Many leisure facilities and a quiet location invite you to relax and unwind. See for yourself!

The property was clean and tidy and had a good selection of kitchen utensils to use. The location was lovely, based in an old estate with not much else around. Perfect for nature lovers. Nearby to lakes and lovely forest walks.

Trevligt, något nedgånget hus, renovering verkar påbörjad. TVn kan endast användas för VHS-tittning, inte för tv-sändningar. Det finns VHS-band från 90-talet dubbade på tyska i ett skåp. Vi kollade på Braveheart och sen spelade vi kort istället. 🙂 Ett av badrummen är beläget i den kalla källaren nedanför en väldigt smal trappa.
Köket funkade bra men vi saknade osthyvel och micro.
Trots dessa smärre brister trivdes vi bra och kan tänka oss att återkomma.

Die Aussenanlage, wenn man auf das herrschaftliche Anwesen zufährt, ist atemberaubend schön. Das Anwesen aus dem 18.Jahrhundert hat wirklich sehr viel Potential. Allein so eine grosse Anlage will natürlich gepflegt werden und das das schier unmöglich ist, sieht man leider auch bei genauerer Betrachtung. Unser Ferienhaus bot eine grosse Anzahl von Zimmern, mit großen Kochbereich, Sauna und Grillmöglichkeit, wirkte aber sehr überdekoriert ( wie häufig in Schweden) und das Mobiliar war ein buntes Sammelsurium aus dem herrschaftlichen Anwesen. Die Sauberkeit des Objektes liess leider etwas zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere die der Küche .
Sehr positiv ist hervorzuheben, dass die Besitzerin uns die Nutzung des üppigen Gemüse- und Kräutergarten gestattete . Sie gab uns viele Tipps für Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Auch der Hausmeister war jederzeit ansprechbar und bei kleinen Problemen behilflich.
Das Angeln im angrenzenden See Östen ist auf Grund des niedrigen Wassertandes im Sommer recht schwierig. Im Fluss Tidan konnten wir einige Hechte und Barsche fangen. Auch die weiteren Seen der Umgebung bieten für Angler, auf Grund der sehr eingeschränkten Zugänglichkeiten, recht wenig Potenzial.
Insgesamt können wir das Objekt durchaus weiter empfehlen, für Verbesserungen ist jedoch noch reichlich Luft nach oben.
