A very useful one night stop in Phimai. It is remarkable value for money and a short stroll to the historical park. Phimai is a lovely little town and would recommend the Wealthy Cafe. Good big room.

We were not tempted by the breakfast. I know the room rate is low but charging for the sachet of coffee and a bottle of water that were in the room leaves a bad taste.

Just arriving at the hotel is an experience, Its newness impresses, set against an everyday working non touristy affected interesting dusty town, by raising the bar on just what one would just expect in accommodation. Punching beyond its weight in quality of stay and good value. Ideally located, just short walk to the prime attraction, the Khymer Wat Prasart Pimai, reconstructed temple complex and the 6am morning and interesting late afternoon/evening markets. The arrival is welcoming and reception operates 24 hours , our room comfortable with onsuite and bright modern presentation. The hotel owns a Thai took- took and can deliver small groups to nearby attractions on request.

For a visiting Aussie the provided morning Thai porridge I found was daunting but my XYL quite liked it. Available at additional cost is an European cooked breakfast so that was problem solved.

Value for money in a good location

There was no coffee apart from iced coffee in plastic cups. These plastic cups are terrible for the environment. No cafes nearby so the hotel should at least provide a decent cup of coffee
