Villa Castelluccia ****
Villa Castelluccia is located on Lake Varano in the province of Foggia, with its own lake access and private beach. This magnificent holiday villa in the heart of the Gargano nature reserve offers everything a family and couple could wish to relax and escape from everyday life. We heat ecologically using a thermal fireplace. With a furnished roof terrace from which you have a breathtaking view of the lake.
The living room
The apartment is adorable. On the large terrace you can eat, dream or simply enjoy the peace and quiet and sunbathe. You also have an excellent panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding mountain range. The lovingly designed equipment: 3 bedrooms with double beds, wardrobes, a room with an exclusive bathroom, large bathroom, large dining table in the salon, kitchen with gas stove and side by side refrigerator. The south-west orientation ensures plenty of sun on the terrace. The location is perfect for a 180 degree view of the lake. The apartment invites you to linger even in bad weather. The villa is made of old masonry, so it is bearable even on hot days. For the sake of the environment, we dispense with extra air conditioning.
You live on the upper floor, which is separated from the ground floor by a separate staircase and entrance. Can be seen very well in the pictures. Our apartment is on the ground floor, but we look forward to your feedback, questions, and on request we would be happy to provide information on excursions or insider tips.
We live there with Laika, our watchdog and loyal companion. You should accept dogs, our German shepherd is stunning and in a good mood. Our life on the Lago is varied and individual. We respect your privacy, but we also cordially invite you to spend evenings together as it suits you.
Animals:
Laika, a wonderful white shepherd dog, lives on the premises. She is reliably sweet but also curious. You should be relaxed in dealing with dogs, could happen, he licks you off when you are down, he likes to play. We also have a cat and some chickens that run freely on the property. They are very tame and used to people, a highlight for children.
infrastructure:
For this you have relaxation, the most beautiful sky, time to come down, enjoy yourself as a couple or family. We love it here even in bad weather. Nature is unique at all times. Perfect for stressed cities, even in winter.

Had a great time staying with Rosa, Giovanna and their family. They were very friendly hosts, sharing their pizza when we arrived and offering us some produce from their garden. Everything in the house suited us perfectly for the orchid searching holiday that we had planned. We did not realise that most of the smaller towns and villages in the Gargano would be completely closed down during the afternoons but that was not a fault of the accommodation.

Die Lage am See, total ruhig und mit herrlichem Blick über den See. Wunderbar. Absolut unbeschreiblich ist die Gastfreundschaft von Giovanni und Rosa. Herzlichkeit pur. Ob Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten, frische Zitronen vom Direkt vom Baum, eigene Marmelade, Tomatensosse, eingelegte Tomaten, … und egal was wir gefragt haben, wir haben immer hoch informative Antworten bekommen. Beide sprchen fliessend deutsch und haben uns Die berühmte italienische Gastfreundschaft von der allerbesten Seite gezeigt. Danke Euch beiden für dieses Erlebnis!!!

Wir verbrachten zwei einmalig schöne Wochen in der Villa Castelluccia und sind von diesem Ort restlos begeistert.
Die Ferienwohnung dieses überaus herzlichen Gastgeberpaares liess wirklich keine Wünsche übrig. Sie ist sehr gross, geräumig, sehr hochwertig ausgebaut und mit allen Dingen ausgestattet, die man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Zudem diese wundervolle Dachterrasse! Die Sonnenuntergänge dort zu geniessen mit Blick auf den See und das Meer in der Ferne ist Luxus pur. Die Lage allgemein ist sehr idyllisch, inmitten von Olivenhainen.
Wir und besonders die Kinder durften auch den Garten und den Zugang zum See nutzen.
Die Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr gastfreundschaftlich. Sie geben gerne Tipps zur Umgebung, zu Restaurants und Reisezielen weiter.
Die Administration von der Buchung bis hin zu unserer Ankunft vor Ort hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir waren rundum bestens betreut.
Wir können die Ferienwohnung absolut empfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Die Wohnung ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Da es zwischendurch (im Oktober) kalt und nass wurde, sorgte ein Kamin, der zugleich die Heizung versorgt, abends für Wärme. Auf der Dachterrasse konnten wir mit herrlichem Weitblick über die Lagune frühstücken.
Das Anwesen ist etwas für Tierliebhaber mit Hund, Katzen und Hühnern, die uns jeden Tag mit 2 Frühstückseiern versorgten.
Die Vermieter sind sehr persönlich und immer hilfsbereit.
