Mactan Newtown Condo with Pool access

The staff are great, the Realestate Agent, Ella is awesome, very responsive and takes care of things immediately. My interaction was never with the landlord and there was no need to have any, as Ella was great! The location is awesome, steps away from the market, restaurants ect.

The couch is very uncomfortable, had to put a blanket on top and still didn't help. There is no washing machine, although it is indicated as having one in the advertisment. Building #1 has no air conditioning in the elevator, lobby or hallways. Just note that there are brown outs every day for 1 to 2 hours at a time, I needed to walk to the Starbucks 5 or so doors down to access internet and be in cool air conditioned location. You will be approached 10 to 20 times by solisitors who will give you advertisements about Mega World and other companies selling new condos, so be aware of that when walking through New Town. The Lobby Staff are outstanding and will help you with anything you need. Ask for Nel, he is great and has connections for the entire island. Great guy, excellent energy and quick to get you the answers. Note: if you are looking for a beach to walk on for free, you will not find it. All beaches are attached to a resort and a fee will be required, additionally, if you have invisioned walking in the sand or water on a long beach watching the sunrise or sunset you won't find it on Mactan Island, as they don't exist. Beach Resorts are very short, not a negative just have realistic expectations when you arive. I stayed on in Newtown for 4 weeks and met many wonderful tourists and expats and connections for life. Welcome to the Philipines and enjoy!
