The holiday farm is situated in the heart of the Maremma countryside of Santa Fiora, 800 m slm, at the foot of the Monte Amiata (20 minutes). It is part of a working farm set on the grounds of the natural parkof Arcidosso. Farmhouse totally renovated with care to the tradition and the original building. Ideal place to relax in the total quietness, but also ideal base to visit the archeological sites, the Saturnia health Spa, the beautiful sea is only 1 hours bycar. The owners offer the opportunity to visit their own dairy with direct sale of cheese, ricotta cheese and products derived from the milk of their sheep breeding very old, comfortable working farm "Santa Fiora retreat", surrounded by fields. 4 apartments in the property. 7 km from the centre of Arcidosso, in a secluded, sunny, elevated position, in the countryside. For shared use: property, meadow, swimming pool (8 x 4 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 04.Jun. - 01.Oct.). Outdoor shower, barbecue. Private: garden furniture. In the house: washing machine. Linen change weekly. House maid on request (extra). Motor access to the house (100 m via unmade road). Parking at the house. Das Haus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Natur zu erkunden oder einfach zu relaxen.
Einzig negative ist die unnötige Einbeziehung einer weiteren Verwaltungsorganisation „INTERHOME“ mit Sitz in der Schweiz.
Da die Anreise nicht ganz einfach per Adresseneingabe im Navi funktioniert, wollten wir uns über die hinterlegte Kontaktnummer Detailinformationen geben lassen. Es antwortet eine Telefonhotline mit Warteschleifen aus der Schweiz (das dürfte einiges gekostet haben) um dann beim x-ten Versuch zu erfahren, das diese dann am Samstagabend nicht mehr besetzt ist. Wie beschrieben eine unnötige, teure und zudem nutzlose Einbindung einer Vermittlerorganisation.
Wie auch immer, dass Haus ist wunderschön und auch die Gastgeberinn vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Daher ist die Unterkunft selbst, sehr zu empfehlen.

Great place with awesome view. Quite cold at night in june, because of the high location. Whole area has specific smell of air due to the natural thermal springs.
