About this house rental
The approximately 200 year old stone house in the Ribeira Sacra has been restored with great attention to detail and offers nature lovers and people interested in culture something very special. Behind the thick granite stone walls and the ancient chestnut wood beams, the restlessness and stress of our world fall away from you. During the restoration, great importance was attached to preserving the historical character, but you will still find all the comfort that modern man needs.
The large garden and courtyard offer plenty of space for families with children. There is a lawn with sun loungers and parasol and a private pool (8x4 m) with wonderful views of the mountains and valley. The garden can be cordoned off to protect children. In the courtyard is the summer kitchen, where you can cook on two gas burners or work with the large charcoal grill. This way, unpleasant smells stay away from the house.
The kitchen in the house is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms with 2 beds each and a sofa bed, baby bed is also available.
In addition to staying in the house and the associated garden, there are various excursion options. For the tenants there are 2 mountain bikes (helmets available) and a kayak (3 life jackets and paddles available). The river is dammed, so there is no dangerous current. However, you have to transport the kayak to the river by trailer (not available) or roof rack (not available) and bring it back again.

La casa tiene todas las comodidades en un entorno privilegiado.
Todo muy limpio al llegar y no le falta detalle.
Eso sí, está asilada. A 11 minutos del pueblo más cercano por carretera de curvas.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe in erstklassiger Lage mit maximalem Luxus.
Die Betreung vor Ort war perfekt es hat an nichts gefehlt.

We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely villa (myself, husband and two teenage boys).We were absolutely bowled over by the scenery in the Sil River Canyon and the house is very well positioned to explore the area - and there is a view of the canyon from the end of the garden. The house was comfortable and well equipped and the pool was an added bonus in the heat. This is a very unspoilt and quiet area so you wake up to the sound of cattle bells in the morning and not much else - pretty idyllic if that’s what you’re after. The house is at the end of a track and while there is one other house nearby and some outbuildings, it feels very undisturbed. We used the outdoor kitchen and barbecue most evenings which was great. The roads are fairly hair-raising in places so be prepared for some white-knuckle but spectacular drives. We would thoroughly recommend Rosa’s villa to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Ribeira Sacra.

La semana de vacaciones tuvimos un tiempo fenomenal, la piscina ídem de lo mismo y la casa muy bonita, pero me gustaría añadir que el suelo de la planta superior es de madera y causa ruido a la planta baja, ya que hay una habitación y por la noche es muy molesto, me gustaría también comentar,que me hubiese gustado mucho haber sido recibido por los propietarios para la entrega de llaves, y no fue posible, durante toda la semana no dieron señal alguna, y no es muy grato ser recibidos por desconocidos,nos perdimos varias veces el GPS no localizaba la ubicación de la casa ya que tiene dificultades para encontrar el alojamiento, por lo demás muy bien, tranquila y limpia. Un saludo.
