About this house rental
The nearest lake, Sunne, is the largest and only 25 km away. There you will find stores, restaurants, a water park and Selma Spa. From Tossebergsklätten there is a magnificent view, this is located between Sunne and Torsby and consists of a high mountain with a lookout tower. Worth seeing for not only botanists is the park Rottneros, south of Sunne.
South of Sunne is also the ski resort of the same name. In all seasons skiing is possible in the Torsby Ski Tunnel.
When there is ice on the lake, you can go ice fishing. Rally Sweden makes a car race in February in the woods nearby. The dam vin Höljes supplies the largest storage power plant in Värmland. From Höljes it is 60 km to Trysil in Norway.
This cottage, Maltorpet, is the oldest house in the area. It dates from the middle of the 19th century. In the 18th and 19th century Fölsjön was a center with about 100 houses, of which today almost only ruins remain. Agriculture was practiced here until around 1940, it was replaced by forestry. Despite the quiet location of Maltorpet, you do not have to miss out on excursions here.
