Staying in the old bottle store cottage.

The cottage is 2 minutes from town, and about 5 minutes from the bus stops really is in a great location. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay ie appliances bedding etc

Fantastic Weekend

The Bottle Store had everything you needed for proper holiday if you wanted to self cater rather than eat out. Plenty of room and cosy too. Great host communication Lovely high street mins walk with eateries, pubs and lovely independent and charity shops, beautiful little town

Wonderful stay to see family

Very spacious, clean, private parking and in an ideal location. The owner also couldn’t do enough to help us.

It could do with a little sprucing up in terms of decorating, the living room isn’t that comfortable it would benefit from a new suite. It’s also incredibly noisy on an evening because of the pub.

Beautiful property that was fully equipped, clean, close to bars, restaurants, shops, central St Ives. Lovely size with 2 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. An Allocated parking space plus a car park a few mins walk (as we had 2 cars between us) and only £4 for 23 hours.

There was nothing to dislike. It met all our needs.

St.Ives cottage

House was in a superb position close to shops and within walking distance of everything. Very well equipped with all that you needed, nicely furnished and very comfortable.

It was very hot and we thought it had air con but didn't. Had 2 fans that were efficient but very noisy thru the night. The noise from the pub was very loud, most probably because it was good weather the garden was very busy. However this was just in the evenings till about 11.30pm. We stayed here for a wedding in a nearby village so it not a great problem to us. Overall was a very good stay.

Home from home-wonderful stay.

Wonderful location and homely stay. I left a jacket behind me and Helen was very helpful in organising its return to me. There is not much accommodation in St. Ives so we are so happy to have this option when we visit.

Comfy beds comfy chairs and sofa, fantastic location

Location was amazing and we had parking which is like gold dust in st Ives. Helen our host was very helpful and informative especially letting us know that we could get in early.

Being of that age……one improvement I could suggest is a handrail on the right side to help us oldies navigate the bend in the stairs more easily.

Fantastic property two minutes walk from the town center. Spacious, clean, and well appointed, the property had everything we needed for our four night stay. When we return to St Ives, the Old Bottle Store will be the first place we will look to book.

Fantastic central location within walking distance of the high street. Wonderful house with plenty of space, all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Unfortunately there is a pub that backs onto the lane which is quite noisy over the weekend but that can't be helped. Other than that it's perfect.

Comfortable apartment in excellent location

Nice comfortable apartment in an excellent location within a stones throw to St Ives town. Communication with Helen was good from the outset and during our stay. Apartment was well equipped and beds very comfortable. Plenty of cafe and restaurant choices in St Ives and if you love Turkish food go to Vadi Kitchen which was listed in the apartments places to eat. Also had a nice cheap meal at The White Hart. Nice local pub with friendly staff. Also Floods bar on the river was a nice place for a drink with lovely views. Easy access to Cambridge on the bus - bus stop just across the road from the apartment. Much easier way to get into Cambridge than using the car. Visited Huntingdon and Godmanchester, a couple of small towns nearby which were worth seeing. Again just hoped on the bus from across the road. Also Burghley House about a 50 minute drive away is well worth a visit. Overall for us this was a good apartment as a base to travel around the area.

Limited natural light in the lounge and living areas but that is just the style/age of the apartment block. Only had two coffee pods available so a few more of those would be nice.

Excellent well managed property in the centre of St Ives.

Once you stepped inside we loved everything. My wife says she has the same taste in decor and fit out! This is a very well managed accomodation. We liked the fact we could choose between twin beds or a large double bed in the main bedroom. It is very well equipped and we liked the fact it had wifi. It was immaculately presented. The keysafe is a good idea. The sofa bed in the lounge was so comfortable, we liked the fact it supported your neck! We liked the allocated car park space. We felt secure in the location.

All the mattresses were a just a little too firm for our preference although others may really like them. It would have been nice to have had a Kitchen Roll. There was nothing else we could possibly need! It's only weakness was it didn't have a view or a garden but it's location right in the centre of St Ives more than made up for that!

Superb property in a great location

The property was beautifully laid out, exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a great location. It had everything needed to relax, eat in, and was ideal for all the restaurants, cafes in the town. Bed was very comfortable and it was quiet even though it was close to the town centre. It was also superb for getting to other towns and cities nearby. Car park space was brilliant as it enabled us to walk to everywhere but we could easily go out if we wanted to.

Great Stay

Well set out and clean accommodation in a great setting for St. Ives town. It is a spacious property with all the amenities needed, and having 2 bathrooms and a toilet downstairs, it fit our needs perfectly. Everything you need is at hand in the kitchen if you want to stay in a cook, but there are some lovely local restaurants to explore.
