House Brindling - Spend carefree holidays

We were three families of friend with children. this house was one of the highlights of the vacation. While it is about 20 min drive from the town which is located in the valley, waking up to that beautiful mountain view every morning was awesome. The house had all the facilities and appliances to make us comfortable, it is very spacious and comfortable and the owner is very helpful and friendly. If you rent this house don't miss the excellent breakfast in the farm 200 m below the house.

It is a 20 minute climb in the car from the valley floor on a very twisty route, but worth it for the fantastic views. The house has plenty of bedrooms but is short on comfortable places to sit and relax. A great holiday enjoyed by 3 generations of our family.

We had an amazing week at Ferienhaus Brindling. The accommodation is very clean and tastefully decorated with good quality kitchen and bathrooms. Even a digital radio in each living area. There were 3 families staying and the layout worked well with there being an upstairs and downstairs living area. All 13 of us ate comfortably round the downstairs table. The beds were very comfortable and all looked freshly decorated. We were plenty warm enough. The views from the chalet are just amazing - both sunrise and sunset are spectacular looking out across the valley and seeing the piste bashers at work at night! We were worried about the roads before we arrived but quickly got used to the drive up and down the valley. I would definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle, although we did have a visit from local friends who drove a rear wheel drive. They are used to Austria so managed, but we were pleased to have 4wd. The last bit of the road did get gritted while we were there, but was icy on arrival. The main road to the valley from the Mosl bahn is absolutely fine - wide enough to pass a ski bus. There is a great restaurant just 2 mins down the road where we ate a 3 course meal for 20 euros per person. Otherwise it is easy to shop in the valley and cook for yourselves. The Moslbahn is a great addition, although for our first few days we preferred to get the main lift from the valley, as with beginners in our group they weren't confident skiing to and from the lift, and we wanted to buy supplies etc. In fact there is a blue run that you can use, so it's not hard really. As yet the nearest shops are in the valley. Elisabeth is a great host and made us feel very welcome. We would love to come back!
