The park "Antiche Cure di Ghiffa" is located in a quiet and sunny position about 1 km above the lake. The new building (built in 2011) was built on the remains of the former natural healing baths of the 1920s ("Cure Naturali di Ghiffa"). Of these, the residence not only took its name, but also philosophy. Quality of life is the spirit that animates the project and which is reflected in the attention for the needs of the inhabitants and in the love for the environment. Dr. Luigi Rovetta was the first to believe in the healing power of this place. In the twenties, he built a wonderful Kurresidenz and offered therapies based on natural medicine. There is a bar and a grocery store within 100 m of the hotel. If you like hiking, you can do this in the "Sacro Monte" natural park, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003. Prachtig gebouw en locatie, in een heel rustig dorp, heel schoon, super uitzicht vanuit de zitkamer en balkon. Ideaal is het parkeren in de kelder onder het gebouw.
Vooral geschikt voor 2 personen.
Internet/wifi was heel matig, dat werkte te vaak niet.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit hellem Wohn- Ess-Bereich. Küche super ausgestattet und sauber. Bei der Sauberkeit können wir an sich nichts bemängeln, jedoch lag hinter dem Sofa eine benutzte Unterhose samt Kondom Verpackung. (Für die Vormieter kann aber keiner was)
Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Wir würden wiederkommen.

nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten wurde es doch noch ein schöner Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und die Aussicht auf den See fabelhaft. Die Wohnung war leider nicht gründlich gereinigt. Es lagen viele Haare auf dem Boden und auf den Möbeln. Die Stuhl und Couchhussen sind schmutzig. Der Staubsauger hatte quasi keine Funktion mehr, da der vorhandene /eingebaute Staubsaugerbeutel bereits überfüllt war. Einige Lichtquellen sind ausgefallen, und der Ablauf im Bad/Waschbecken war verstopft. Aufgrund dieser Mängel ich mit der Agentur Kontakt aufgenommen und einen Tag später, kam der housekeeping Service sowie eine Bekannte (sehr nett) der Eigentümer vorbei und haben die Mängel aufgenommen und beseitigt. Ein wichtiger Hinweis: WLAN ist ausschließlich auf dem Balkon möglich. Der Ort ist leider sehr ruhig und es gibt wenig Möglichkeiten zum ausgehen/einkaufen. Die diversen Kirchenglocken in der Umgebung holten uns regelmäßig sehr früh aus dem Schlaf.
