About this house rental
Beautiful, nicely furnished, centrally heated and air- conditioned, ( Geo-Thermal) Private home on 44 acres with views of Lake George and the distant mountains of Vermont . Perfect for family reunions and business retreats. Swim in Lake George from the sandy beaches of Veterans Park or Rogers Park in town just 2 miles down the hill.
Huge, very well equipped kitchen with new stove that includes air fry for those large trays of chicken wings.
Coffee corner in kitchen with combination Keurig or drip coffee, electric tea pot and coffee grinder plus a drawer full of assorted K cups and sugar and creamer packets .
Large 50" flat screenTV in Living room upstairs and 40" in family room downstairs plus flat screen TV in master bedroom. 2 Queen beds in master, 2 twins in each of the other 4 bedrooms plus 1 twin in family room and a bunk over double futon for overflow. Gates on all the stairs to protect the children. 2 cribs and 2 toddler beds plus 3 pack-n-plays and 2 high chairs.
New extra 20 cube refrigerator in the garage.
Enjoy the BBQ on the deck while the children play games, basketball , CORN HOLE and soccer or badminton on the lawn. If it rains there's ping pong room plus a pool table and foosball table in the game room with a bar and extra refrigerator…. and always a quiet corner for reading...
A circular pond stone fire pit in the backyard is a great gathering place for roasting marshmallows in the evening.... the true mountain experience with all the fun and beauty that Lake George has to offer.
Easy Hiking trail marked with orange tape starts at the woods behind the wood shed and goes to the top of the mountain behind the house... all on my 44 acres. At the top, there’s a beautiful view to the west looking over to Cat and Thomas mountains on state lands. To hike to Cat and Thomas mountains there’s a trail head and parking lot just 5 driveways down the street before Edgecomb Pond.
Lake George offers many activities . There are Boat or jet ski rentals and parasailing at Chic's Marina or rent a canoe or kayak from Lake George Kayak right in town. You can get on the Mohican Steam ship from the town dock and tour the lake. Or take other steamships from Lake George Village 9 miles to the south at the end of the lake.
Great Escape is 20 minutes to the south and Adirondack Extreme, a rope course in the trees, is just a few minutes down the road. In winter we are just 30 minutes from skiing at Gore Mt. And just 20 minutes from West Mt.

Large house with plenty of sleeping space. Clean and all appliances functional. Lots of activities provided.

This was a wonderful property for a large gathering. It is secluded and rustic. Good Wi-Fi connection and most everything you would need. We played badminton, large connect four, pool, basketball and enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We did some boating on the lake and some whitewater rafting. Beds were comfortable. Note that most beds are twin size. There’s a grocery store in town which was convenient. Plenty of room in the house to find alone time.
