About this house rental
The residential part of the house was 2015/2016 completely renewed. The heating of the building by means of environmentally friendly air - heat pump and underfloor heating. In addition, can be fired for a cozy evening of fireplace. The ground floor has a large living and dining room with fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower / WC and a spacious hall with a fireplace for the stove. On the south side is a large "Schopf" (porch with sliding glass) which is also ideal on cooler days or evenings to linger. From the Schopf you have a clear view of the house belonging to the meadow, to the edge of the forest and the top of the Kanisfluh. Upstairs are 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom (bathtub / toilet).
Sheets, towels and tea towels are included.
The house is on the small mountain pass between Bizau and Schnepfau to approximately 900 meters above sea level. Parking directly at the house to shopping Schnepfau 1.5 km or 3.5 km in Bizau. The next ski areas (Mellau or Diedamskopf) are each about 5 km away. Beautiful, signposted hiking and walking paths start 3-minute walk from the house. In about 5 minutes you will reach a highly recommended good civic Gasthaus (Berghaus Kanisfluh).
Satellite TV and WiFi available for free. Large charcoal grill (fire bowl with arm), garden furniture and umbrellas are available. In the period from 01 May to 31 October you get 3 or more nights also the Bregenz Forest Guest Card with the public transport (Landbus), can various cable cars and swimming pools using free

Spacious house, built in the traditional Bregenzerwald style. Extremely clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Enclosed porch made for a pleasant sitting area until the weather got cold. We had the windows closed most of the time (cool and rainy weather) and there was virtually no noise from the road or from the house above. Be sure to walk to the Berghaus Kanisfluh at least once, and enjoy their patio with view of the mountains.

Das Haus auf der Schnepfegg ist wirklich toll. Sehr schön, geschmackvoll und grosszügig renoviert. Frau Albrecht hat uns sehr freundlich und unkompliziert beherbergt.
Nur etwas mehr Ruhe hätten wir uns gewünscht. An einem sonnigen Sommerwochenende hat es schon viel Verkehr auf der Passstrasse direkt hinter dem Haus. Und wir hatten wohl auch einfach Pech: In der benachbarten Unterkunft des Alpenvereins hat sich eine Gruppe junger Männer für ein 4-tägiges Fest eingemietet. Sie haben sich zwar höflich bemüht, auf uns Rücksicht zu nehmen - mit durchzogenem Erfolg.

Wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Lage ist traumhaft. Man ist allein für sich und doch gibt es in ca. 400m Entfernung einen sehr guten Gasthof. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
