La casa es una maravilla, una auténtica casa de Kerala, se recoge el agua de la lluvia en el salón. Tiene hasta un templo. Las personas que se encargaban de la casa siempre estuvieron disponibles y nos consiguieron un taxi a un buen precio para llevarnos a Thrissur.

La cocina no estaba muy limpia. La Wifi no funcionaba y nos quedamos sin agua el primer día que solucionó uno de los chicos abriendo otro tanque donde acumulaban la lluvia. El patio de atrás está muy sucio y no se puede pasar porque hay mucha hierba y basura.

No staff in the property. None took call after several phones. We are not given any information about the arrangements given in the facility

Rustic, authentic,ancient and charming. It is great for someone who loves old places with the advantage of modern amenities. The bedrooms,living area etc. were very comfortable.

Can be a little confusing to navigatewithout initial help(had to call the helper to understand the layout and the location of the bathrooms). The backyard was overgrown with grass .The water in the bathrooms/health faecets was barely a drip which was one of the most frustrating aspects..One of the ACs remote control had dead batteries and had to exchange batteries with another remote to use it. No wifi (even though advertised as with wifi). The general impression of the.yard is one of neglect. This place can be exceptional if the owner takes care of the following: (1) Have a guide/helper to welcome the guests and show around the first time. It can be overwhelming/confusing for first timers. (2)Take care of the backyard and the weeds all our over. Use something other than awkward beer bottles to restrict access to certain areas in the backyard. Also remove labourer clothes left to dry as it is unsightly. (3) Inline pressure pumps can help boost the water pressure in the bathrooms and kitchen.

It is a 200 year house that has been converted into a guest house. I must confess that the house is pretty old and the owners have maintained it well. It has been renovated and I would not say that the renovation is of a high standard. The huge plus for this property is the contact person Mr.Sudheeshan. He was extremely helpful. He served us good quality breakfast. Supported us in every which way he can.

There is no caretaker. Mr.Sudheeshan will hand over the keys and give you instructions about various thigs like where the switches are, how to switch on and switch off the generator etc. For the kind of charges that they levy, they should have provided a full time caretaker. This would have helped the guests who basically visit such places for relaxation and would have helped the owners too in safeguarding this old and precious property. Without any help, you are back to your home routine like lock the house when you go out, not to forget switching off the generator when you are going out etc.
