Casa Familiar y Acogedora

Emplacement top dans une petite ville sans touristes. L'appartement est très grand, typiquement majorquin, avec un jardin en prime. Parfait pour une famille.

Une chambre donne sur la rue donc bruyant le matin, l'autre chambre donne sur les voisins, bruyant matin et soir. ça nous a gêné car on a le sommeil un peu léger. Sinon aucun autre mauvais point.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sauber und einige der Räume sind einfach wunderschön dekoriert. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Haus verfügt über alles was man benötigt. Bei Ankunft riecht es zunächst etwas muffig, aber durch ausgiebiges Lüften verschwindet der Geruch schnell. Besonders geliebt haben wir den Innenhof mit dem wunderbaren Zitronenbaum und den anderen Pflanzen, die uns jeden Tag aufs neue erfreuten. Abends kann man eine schöne Beleuchtung draußen anschalten. Es schauen noch weitere Hausbalkone auf den Innenhof, man ist aber durch Sonnensegel recht gut abgeschirmt. Irgendwo in der Nähe kräht morgens ein Hahn :) und man hört auch Flug"lärm" sowie Lebenszeichen anderer Hausbewohner. Sa Pobla ist eine unspektakuläre Kleinstadt, aber die Lage ermöglicht eine schnelle Anfahrt beliebter Ziele, zum Flughafen sind es nur 30 min, was sehr entspannt ist für An- und Abreise. Parken war nie ein Problem. Das kleine Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster, kann aber gut über den Innenhof belüftet werden und hat die ruhigste Lage im Haus und das schönste Bad. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, einige Dinge könnten erneuert werden (Knoblauchpresse, Espressokocher, Plancha), aber wir sind gut zurecht gekommen und haben nicht wirklich etwas vermisst. Miquel haben wir leider nicht persönlich kennen gelernt, aber waren jeden Tag per Text in Kontakt. Wir benötigten keine weitere Hilfe, da alles gut funktioniert hat. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

The apartment is very spacious with considerable charm. The location is peaceful and incredibly convenient for exploring the whole island, with fast access to the main road south. Shops, supermarkets, and restaurants are all a few minutes walk away. Free parking is available immediately outside. Miquel, the host, is very helpful and quickly resolved matters when the boiler malfunctioned during our visit. The beds are comfortable, the shower is good, and the wifi is reasonable. The apartment was clean, and access was simple. Sa Pobla is an attractive city and not too touristy.

There are no mosquito nets on the doors and windows - we found we got quite a lot of bites. We found most of the chairs quite uncomfortable - some nice dining chairs would have made a huge difference. And a minor niggle - some rings on the hob didn't seem to work, and the oven only had one shelf, which sometimes made cooking a little awkward.

The house is spacious and on the outskirts of Sa Pobla, making it easy to reach and nearby central roads to go to tourist locations. The beds are comfortable and the ease of having a washing machine and dishwasher is invaluable when you have a little one. The house grew on us as the days passed making it our temporary home for a few days. The owner, Miquel, was able to provide us with a child seat and a children's bed, which was very convenient. Communication with the owner was also very pleasant.

What I think should be known is that some of the downstairs areas have a very mouldy smell to it due to high levels of humidity. It is damp and there is little ventilation in the older parts of the house making it very unpleasant to stay in those rooms. This includes the 2 smaller bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor. We kept the doors closed as much a possible to keep the smell out, as the present air fresheners we not up to the job. One last thing that surprised us a bit is that the patio garden is nice, but there are multiple balconies above it therefore limiting the privacy you have in it. Some people would not mind it, but we were a bit disappointed by it.
